  1. ha ha ha, yeah sorry, I'm a newbee so I'm reading through as many posts as possible so I don't ask questions previously addressed an annoy everyone.
  2. I loved my black RX. just had to accept that when I washed an waxed it on saturday it was going to be dirty by monday lol. 17 year old paint didn't help either tho
  3. £2k on an FD3S Rx7 with worn tips, spend £4k on it an you'll have an effortless an reliable 450hp if you wanna go fast. (just make sure you use the right oil or you'll be rebuilding it in 60,000 miles lol) But it won't have the same sophistication about it as the z's. Sorry very off topic, feel free to delete lol
  4. Where sells these wheels? an how much do they usually go for (ball park) they look awesome!
  5. I've had an NX setup fitted to a previous car and it was great till the nitrous solenoid went down (better that than the fuel!!!!) it was a well made piece of kit all hoses are braided unlike the wizards which look cheap an plastic. also the bottle looks much better an more professional IMO. Don't know what extas are availible for the wizad kits, but NX has a MASSIVE range. including safety switches that cut off the system if it runs too lean (which I would advise as thats when things go bang) Having said all that, if an when come to fit another kit I'll be going for the ZEX wet system. It's only a restricted kit, I think only options are 35, 50, an 75bhp, and the purple bottle looks a little camp, but eveything looks good quality well made solenoids, braided hoses, nice machined valves etc. It's the easiest system to set up I've come accross, and it has a "smart" box that controls both the fuel an nitrous, so they're in the correct proportions, . Very safe AND they're cheap esp if you order from the states... or were untill the pound fell on it's arse lol. Hope this helps Mark
  6. well, the figures I've been calculating atm is somewhere around the 7-8k OTR, but you're all right on the economic climate which is why I want to check the whole process so I know I've not missed anything. Thanks for the warm welcome Where abouts are you marzman?
  7. Hey there, Just signed up as I'm looking to get my first 350z shortly, and wanted to do some research. I'll be buying from Japan an shipping, probably through Bansai cars as they seem the most on the ball so far. (unless anyone can suggest any other options, or bad reports???) Been scrolling through the site an it seems very helpfull, esp the versions differences so I know what to expect, so thank you for anyone who has contributed. I've got my own Garage in Manchester, so I'll be hoping to do all the SVA prep myself, an found I can rent a model report for £100 - £300 depending on gearbox. If anyone has imported before an can give me a rundown off the exact process it would be appreciated incase I've missed something? Are there particular things I should be ready for/worried about? I'm still not sure exactly what a Model report is required for as I keep getting different answers, even from VOSA at the SVA testing station (think I must have got the janitor on the phone lol) And I could also do with knowing exactly what I'll need to swap for the SVA besides the Speedo readout and rear fog. (as long as I buy a stock car which I'm trying to) Anyway, hello and Many thanks, I'll let you know when she arrives. Marky B
