will totally depend on the credit agreement. Some companies use third party companies so it's almost like a loan where you pay interest up front. this happened to my son when he cancelled his bike insurance with bennets. He had paid monthly but still ended up owning them over £100 as his annual insurance payment had been treated like a loan. BUT if you paid in one lump up front that sounds wrong - although some charge £50 cancellation fee or even more. Will be in the small print.

that is the draw back of having a zed and living in the sticks. With a trusty punto I'd be on my way to work now. Shame i'll have to stay here and put the kettle on again...........mind you will have to take it as a days holiday!

thick snow here - left the car in the garage. Its not that I CAN'T drive out of the village - more like every other numpty on the road making a 45 min journey take 4 hours!

I will be driving down on Tuesday afternoon and staying in the lodge to break u the journey. The weather looks a bit cold. I pick up a colleague at Stansted at about 10am and then drive to work. I used to leave home at 4an and drive down in one journey but its not pleasant nowadays. Liz gets another night of soltude too oh you're not flying anywhere then! I see. No coffee for you then! I'll be there about 12. Hopefully no snow!

Well keep your eyes peeled for me if you're there the same time we can have a coffee! I'll buy - I owe you a few favours!

hope it stay away - got my son driving me to stanstead airport on wednesday (186 miles) in his type R. He hasn't taken me out in yet and I just know he'll want to show me what it can do - even though I've already had one...........if we haven't killed each other by the time we get there I'll be amazed!
