Excellent. My only problem now is that we will be filming a lot in the dark, the day may be better, however im sure we can sort out some good shots.

The DCR-TRV255E wont be any good for us as its a High 8 tape i think, we need either MiniDV or DVD. The HDR-UX1 will be fine as long as we can take the DVD off you after we record?

Thats very generous thanks Steve I know how to use the Canon so thats a plus, only issue is getting it down here as i will not be at my Dad's for a while, however it would be good if you can make it. Jay - if your mate is filming, does he have a passenger? I would also like to get a load of driving pictures of the cars, so may not be on the video camera and stills. Personally I would prefer to set up the video cameras and have one person with a handheld. A lot of the shots will be static ones too of us parker up, or if your mate can go and set up on route to get passing shots, that would be amazing. My only worry is with all this filming it may take away the driving element, so we need to find a balance.

This is going to be one amazing meet! Jay - who is your mate that is going to be filming? Ill have 2 cameras with me, one setup in the car and the other hand held during the drive. Does anyone else have any miniDV cameras?

I was going to say i bet it was the sensors conflicting. I think with the high flow cats you need to get a MIL eliminator. This basically bypasses one of the sensors i think and tricks it into thinking that both are working ok. I had the same issue on my old MG. Maybe its the same thing with these?
