Very lucky escape buddy. Just as well you noticed the oil on the drive way. I would definately let them know in no uncertain terms exactly what has happened and at the very least get them to clean of the oil from underneath.

I'm 5' 6" and have a Nismo rear spoiler that blots out half of the vision through the rear screen. I tend to use the door mirrors for reverse parking, but judging where the back of the car is is a nightmare.

When I got mine about a year ago I commented to the tyre place that I wanted PS2's and not the original PS's and I was told that they are all PS2's now as the original PS was replaced by the PS2. I hope this makes sense.

I'm a bit confused. You say you are currently running MPS but are thinking of trying PS2's - unless you are referring to the original Pilot Sports which I didn't think were available any longer, then they are one of the same. I can't see how you find the Stones better in the dry. PS2's are much better all round imo. You are correct in that you cant get Goodyears for the fronts.

That looks very much like corrosion and yes they are laquered. The only way to get rid is to have them refurbished. If they are only 6 months old and you have the original purchase invoice, you may be able to get something done under warranty.
