    It's not that bad at the moment. It just lets out a short chirp when you dip the clutch. That said, however, It possibly will only get worse over time so I've booked it in for the stealer to have a listen to it on Wednesday. Will let you know what happens.

    If you undo the 5 screws and take the ally plate off, there's two slot head screws underneath that may have worked loose.

    I don't know if anyone else has found this to be a problem, but ever since I've had my Z I've always found the footrest to be a bit too far away. Now that may be because I'm somewhat short in the leg, but nevertherless I have now done something about it. I simply removed the 5 screws and ally cover, marked around it onto a piece of 4x2 soft wood, cut it out with the jigsaw, painted it black so it wouldn't stand out like a bulldog's b*llo* and refitted it to the car using longer self tapping screws. Hey presto a footrest I can now comfortably reach. Blue Peter would be proud of me.

    That's funny If the new TT is so good, how come it finished last in this year's Evo car of the year test. Admittedly it was the 2.0 they tested, but they are of the opinion that this is the best VFM in the range.
