  1. Remember I'm from Scotland origionally so anything over 20 is too hot. I've never had it done to any of the cars that I've had and wanted to try it, so why not. I'd agree with the vision thing but only through the back window. Through the side windows it not a problem at all.
  2. You're not allowed to touch the front windows at all. I also think that it would make it quite dangerous driving at night. Looking out the back window at night you can only see headlights and that it. You're luck if you can make out the outline of a car if it's sitting under a street light. You'd never see anything if the front was as dark. Think it was a joke pal. Just making sure, you never know with lomoto.

  4. Hi Guys, Finally got round to taking picture of the car since I had the windows tinted. I think the picture make the windows look a little darker than they actually are and it really does depend on the angle you see them at. If you look from front towards the back they look really dark but if you are looking from the back then they look much lighter. I really like them though........... What you think?

    Centre Vents

I've had the centre console out a couple of times and I can't remember seeing any way to remove the vents themselves. Have a look at this - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4550&highlight=vent+covers is this what you are thinking about?
  6. I fitted Spill's kit a couple of weeks ago. I definately noticed a difference. Firstly with the smoothness of the engine, just didn't sound as rough. It is a very subtle difference and I couldn't say that I still notice the difference. When I initally started the engine I also noticed a difference in the throttle responce. Engine seemed to react quicker when I was reving the engine.
  7. Hi Rob, Love the Esprit too (a classic sports car shape). Please get some pics up of both your and the miss's cars up soon! Enjoy the site.
  8. Cheers Guys. Give me your best shot Tim!
  9. Definately add my name to this list. When were you thinking of having the meet?
  10. I've just been round to a friends house who's broadband dropped out last night. It is now saying there is a problem negotiating the line. Told him to speak to Orange about it and if they say there isn't a problem with them then get them to do a line test. Modem appears to be working fine.
  11. I've done that once before. Get you're windows tinted and it will make it a whole lot more obvious we you're windows are down! Well I've had to think of a lot of excuses to give to the misses for her to let me get them done!

    Jealousy?

Unfortunately definately stolen as you could see where they rubbed the brake dust off the alloys. Was thinking about putting a camera outside the house but still wouldn't have helped as the car has never been touched at the house. Will get picture up of windows as soon as I see my car in the daylight! It's dark everytime I get in the car nowadays!

    Jealousy?

There are some really nasty people out there. Since Wales my car has taken a beating, literally. First thing to happen weirdly in stages was that the rest of my valve caps disappeared. First one disappeared before Wales and then another two when a week after, then they came back to complete their set the week after that. Then on Friday last week I came back to my car an noticed that someone had driven into it!!!!! They've hit the rear offside bumper, removing paint and leaving a huge bulge and some dents in the bumper. I need to give the car a wash to reveal the full extent of the damage and my need some advise on the best way to sort it out. I think with the dents in the plastic the whole bumper will need to be replaced. They of course didn't leave and details or even a little note saying sorry. Apart from that I've been tinkering. I have now fitted a Spills grounding kit which I think really does make a difference to the car. When I started the engine immediately after fitting the kit the engine sounded and felt significantly smoother! Would recommend the grounding kit to anyone who was thinking about it. Replaced all the valve caps with some nice locking caps. Let see them steal the suckers now. And last but not least today I had the windows tinted. Haven't seen it in the day light yet but it looks good in the dark. Will get some picture up for those who are interested.
  14. Hmmm good article on the TT but don't know about the rear spoiler rising at 75mph. You'd get pulled over by the police all the time! And they had my earlier L22 UST that I spotted in Twickenham on the roadtest!
  15. Hi Alli and welcome, I think M13KYF and beavis have answered your questions. On the storage thing I have a Roadster (stastically half the space of the coupe) and it does hold a surprising amount. Of course your never going to be able to go down to the shops and take home your new TV home the same day but there is more than enough space to do with weekly shop. I'm origionally from Glasgow and would recommend that you get one for a test drive and if you can drag yourself off the back road and flying down the motorway go for a drive throught the centre of town and listen to the awesome sound form the exhausts and watch peoples heads turn. You'll be hooked! P.S. Don't suppose you know my dad who is also a QS, Rudy Hanel of Allan & Hanel. Thought I might as well ask.
  16. Notice not Microsoft based! Well it didn't crash once..... Would have thought that will be available to us within the next 7-10 years. I want one now
  17. Ryan took some really good pictures while you were driving. I'm too embarrassed to show you the ones Emma managed to take!!!!
  18. OK here they are sorry if there's to many of the same old same old..... Ahhhh the memories!
  19. First time I've been properly spotted by anyone on this forum. Good to see you and meet you the next day.
  20. I'd just like to add my thanks to Jacko and everyone else for a great day out. Good to see everyone again and meet even more new faces. I'll get my pics up tonight although I think they will be much of the same.
  21. Depends on the driver.. You can turn all the driver aids of the BMW whereas I'm told the Zed still interfers even with ESP turned off. Turning off the ESP only turns off the traction control. All the ABS is still active and will not turn off.
  22. Woohoo, we've hit the magic 20 Good to hear you're joining us Stevie. If you can't be bothered trolling through the 20 pages of posts, I've arranged a room at the Travel inn at the Chester Services where we are meeting on the Sunday morning. If you're you are planning on staying overnight in or around Chester then we are also arranging to meet up for a drink on the Saturday night with Max and Lomoto, if Tim ever finds a hotel to suit him.... If you do fancy staying over then we could arrange to meet up on the way up to Chester.
  23. Yeh just a little worrying especially as one of the purchases that he has made is a "Car recovery truck"!!!! Hopefully ebay can do something quickly! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=108854&item=330002042227
