Have been thinking that my clutch is on it's way out. Had a friend (female) driving my car recently and no matter how many time I told her that you don't need to put 3k rpm on the rev conter before you pull off slowly from the lights she doesn't listen. Poor clutch! Car needs to get in to Nissan to get something that's clicking sorted out. Is it easy for them to tell how worn the clutch is?

I only get 350 miles from £70 worth of fuel Think I need to take some driving economically classes! I'm happy if I managed to hit 20 mpg. Normal weekly commute gets me around 18mpg. Last tank of petrol lasted 260 miles with lots of motorway miles and cost me £55 to fill her to full again.

From what I hear about JAE it's the one not to be missed! Missed it last year as I got my car the day after it finished! Will definately be going to this one. Fingers crossed for good weather!

Dont steal my idea Ok my idea is to put a PC into one of the cubby holes for CDs behind the passenger seat, have wireless internet, satnav, engine stats, bullet cam front and rear, but maybe just front webcam (high end) and have it all in a 7" touchscreen LCD in the front satnav compartment. Just pricing up costs etc at the moment Sounds just like what I was thinking of.

Just looking to see if anyone has any knowledge of or has snow chains for the Z. I know there is another post going on about the AutoSocks but have looked into these and unfortunately they're not recognised by some countries as being a replacement for chains. I'm going to be taking the car across to Switzerland in the middle of Feburary for a skiing holiday. Never used chains before and hopefully I won't have to use them when I'm away but it is a requirement to carry them. Might sound really dumb but do you just need to put them on the rear driven wheels or do you need to have them for all four tyres. Cheers Guys

hmmmm Would love to get my hands on something like this. Have been playing with the idea of putting a PC with a small TFT in the cubby hole. Piece of software like this running on it would be really neet! Might need to save up some pennies and get this. Good find guys.

Great day out. Good to meet everyone. Followed Pingu2 all the way home, turns out he lives a couple of miles down the road from me and pass his car everday on the way home from work everyday Don't kind we behaved badly at all. Women was worried that we were going to run over her cat! Emma and I were laughing when she pulled over WoREoD and not the young hulligan that I bet she was expecting and would have got if she'd have pick any other car to stop! Need to get rid of the tyre soon anyway so what better way than to send out the old Bridgestone in a blaze of glory and get something much better just in time for Christmas and the fantastic Scottish winter weather when I go back up to see family. That's my excuse anyway. Tyre advise welcome. Something with more grip would be good. These rear tyre have only lasted 10k miles cause they just spin constantly! Keep the pictures coming guys!

Hi all, Sorry I've been "AWOL". Good to see that there's been a great deal of interest. I will be there tomorrow. Will meet all concerned in Reading. Really up for a good drive. Spent far to much time behind a desk 24/7 recently. Now off to read through the 351 topics I've missed!
