  9. Jacked mine a few times from there aswell with no problems
  10. Assuming its a MK5 golf? If it is theres not a lot difference between them in performance terms, the Z is a bit quicker but no a lot The interior on the golf is much nicer but the Z looks a million times better on the outside

    volks

Price of Volks went up a few months ago. I wouldn't expect much change from £3k with tyres TBH
  12. 2 Vauxhall corsas - 1 has a widebody kit, no performance mods, massive wheels & a lairy paint job. the 2nd one has a subtle lip kit, a decent size non flashy wheels & some proper performance mods. Which one is the chav? Nobody has said that the Z is turning chavvy but no matter what way you look at it there are examples out there which are owned by chavs & they are usually awful looking. I hate the Veilside kit with a passion (not as much as that Ibherdesign POS though ) but the kit is very much colour dependant. Jay, Andy & that guy with the white one made it work. But in other colours it really doesn't work. You also need the right wheels to pull it off
  13. I assume you missed this thread then viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26867  Pretty sure that car was moving when that happened... Also, it may need some suspension work so you need to add a few £ on for that.. He would be better off parting out and then buying OEM parts to get his cash back if he cant afford to repair.. Its an easy fix. Petrol & matches
  14. You only have to see some of the kits that have been fitted recently to see what kind of people are buying the cars now Not being funny bud but your car doesn't look exactly stock ! So are we saying mad markies veilside is boy racerish ? Or is that fine cos he put the kit on when the car was worth £18k. Don't get it I'm afraid ! There is a big difference between subtle mods & fitting hideous wide arch kits

  18. BHP isn't the issue. Its torque that destroys the rods Cant have one without the other... But its not the BHP that causes the failiures, its torque So what the torque number to be careful of then? 400 seems to be the limit, sure that Alex will confirm either way
