  1. Mats are now SOLD, although I have a lovely car still for sale (see my signature)
  2. The best I've ever managed was 43.1mpg ave over a week's commute to work, which is mostly motorway! I recently took part in a fuel economy challenge at work where we took a standard Qashqai diesel from Land's End to John O'Groats averaging 71mpg on the combimeter (actual was calculated to be 67.35mpg). When we got there, we still had 10 litres of fuel left, from a tank 15 litres smaller in size than the zeds! haha
  3. No he really did buy them Unfortunately I doubt he could have got away with selling the wheels and seats, although I was tempted myself to see if they'd notice if you swapped the rear led lights for pre-06 ones!
  4. No, I probably should have mentioned that he bought them himself!
  5. A friend at work has a set of Genuine 350z front mats for sale if anyone is interested??? Only 6 months old, removed from his company car, which has now been handed back. He's looking for £25+p&p, or collect from Leamington Spa. PM me if interested Cheers
  6. I still have not come to terms with this yet, but here goes! As many of you will know, I'm having to sell my baby in order to get on the property ladder. I've attached a link to the add on Pistonheads, it's pretty detailed but if any of you require any more information about the car, please do not hesitate to contact me. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/276862.htm I'm sure I'll stay around once she goes. I've always had a good relationship with everyone on here and had some good times on the Wales runs, Silverstone days etc... As I'm a Nissan boy, I think I'll be looking to get a cheap 200sx S14A for the short term. At least I'll still have the rwd to bring a smile to my face!!! All the best Steve
  7. Sorry mate, I work at the Engineering Centre in Cranfield so I have nothing to do with sales and therefore I doubt I can help you I'm afraid. Don't you normally see these kits on eBay??? Zzzz... has since seen the light and left NTCE by the way!

    de cat

If they were hi-flow cats I'd be interested!!! Would rather do without the hassle of decat pipes coming up to MOT time!
  9. Oh no! I've just been to get the exhaust fitted and I've found the bolts between the cats and the y-pipe to be really corroded!!! I don't want to risk breaking them as I won't be able to get anything else fitted and I'll be without a car! Doh!!! Does anybody have any old cats that they don't need just incase???? The bolts between the cats and the manifold are fine by the way! Sods law isn't it!!!
  10. Haha I'm clinging onto it by my fingernails! The house hunting isn't going so well at the moment and I figured that it could take me a while to sell the car so I'll use that time to enjoy the DC (I've always wanted one!). If the car goes sooner than expected, then hopefully I'll still get my money back on it! I can't lose!
  11. Still can't beleive that no one as not snapped this up yet. Sssssshhhhhhh, I'm waiting for a reply from the seller!
  12. Damn it.......the devil on my shoulder is saying buy it anyway! I must resist!
  13. Spotted this on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-350z-stainless-steel-catback-twin-exhaust-syst_W0QQitemZ170150596596QQihZ007QQcategoryZ38786QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Decent alternative to the Nismo and looks like a good price too! I would have definately had it for myself if I wasn't planning to sell my baby!
  14. Sorry to hear the bad news Tim, my thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. I found this article on the web earlier. Legend http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sport/sportresults/mcn/2007/august/aug13-19/aug1507racinglegendbilllomaspassesaway/?R=EPI-93612
  15. No plans for a Z c+c to my knowledge, but there might be another Nissan/Infiniti on sale in Europe with a 3.7 V6 and folding hardtop! http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/29/rendered-speculation-infiniti-g37-hardtop-convertible/
  16. No, they were testing the 09MY zed, I thought I'd given you all enough clues!!! Although this new Renault is interesting - maybe a platform share with a new Nissan small coupe based on the Urge concept!!!
  17. I've noticed what seems to be an increase in road noise just lately but I'm certain it's down to a knackered bearing. Has anyone else experienced this recently and changed the bearing??? If so, what were the results??? So I'm prepared, I'd be grateful if anybody knows where I can pick up some front bearings for as little as possible???? I've read that the dealers want well over £100 for each corner!
  18. You have no idea how careful I was in removing it too! I guess I don't know my own strength!!!! In all seriousness, the knob started turning but the thread didn't, which mean't that the plastic casing cracked and then it was pretty much fooked after that! I had to break it all off so that I could get a spanner onto the centre part to remove it!
  19. Just came across this on eBay I remember it was up for sale some time last year. Does anyone know what it went for???? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350-z-NUMBER-PLATE-SIMPLY-THE-BEST-Screw-only_W0QQitemZ230156473813QQihZ013QQcategoryZ421QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I'd be interested to know who valued it at £9,000???? Don't worry if your car is older than '55, I'll let you buy mine for £8,000!
  20. This is the OE knob fitted to all 6 speed Almeras, Primeras and X-Trails, not zeds! I managed to find a pic of one, but not in black. It's a lot shorter than the standard knob, so I doubt it would fit unless you move the gaiter up a little??? Besides, these are nowhere near as good quality as the zed knob. When I replaced my last gear knob, I had a little accident thanks to some thread lock! Just check out the complexity of the standard knob and it's easy to see why they are so freakin expensive!!!!
