just out of interest how easy is this, its a job I've never even bothered with before. However as I want to ensure I know the brake fluid in my car is the brake fluid I asked for (not that I dont trust stealers ) how easy is this?

why wait a few weeks? Insist they take it out, get the serial number, and then put it back then to call you when the replacement is back! I am pi**ed off with the cold skipping but my left channel hasnt yet failed so I am a bit worried of going for a replacement, apparantly they were just using other returned ones not new ones for replacements?!?

With the mods and no remap (not looking for major power gains as if I sell my bike I am buying a supercharge) do you find it feels any different? I know you said top end but does the extra flow make the car feel it has more response through the range?

its just so weird how the 06 seems to have effected prices, it really really really isnt much different in my opinion. Oh and then there is the bull about the torque from Nissan, more of it usable over a greater range? My arse there is, mine dollops it down in a good shove where as the new one does seem to have a smoother curve it just felt flat and for what, 20bhp top end?

Just noticed quite a lot of late model Z's for sale recently (UK ones) for the region of 18 to 20k in GT spec... whats going on, only 6 months back they were pulling 23 to 24k private!!! The new model costs more and doesn't offer more over the current one in any great respect so I cannot believe that is having the nock on effect

what is this about the ECU resetting? Considering adding the plenum does this mean that if you do this and the cats that the ECU negates all the benefits and reverts back to some form of safe mode?

cheers Steve I have the option of also using Platinum in either Trowbridge or Box. The trowbridge one is where I bought it but its inconvenient to go there, drop the car off then drive to work, similar for box - also the box one is in the arse end of nowhere and I fear it may reflect in the service i get (I know thats stupid but at 200 quid for a friggin service I want to feel good about where I go). In fact, seeing as I'm buying the plenum and cats from here, I'll prob just book into a local garage to get a service (oil and brake fluid) and get them to replace the cats, considering Nissan have to honour the warranty if the service is done correctly (though the cats and plenum will invalidate it anyway!)

just phoned them up to say i own it and they are removing it from their website, still interesting price they want, 1200 quid for a plate that isnt sold from DVLA according to them? Well it only cost 995 all inc from DVLA....
