  1. Hallilueyah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the guy that has bought the 900 mile UY zed Expertly advised by me, I hasten to add Good work fella PS: its an 80 litre tank so you can do the maths. I've had 75 litres in mine which cost the wrong side of £70
  2. Thats a bit excessive. Elephant quoted me £1800 on a Murcielago last year Obviously I have not had the chance to follow it up yet Elephant have always been @*!# for me. I'm sure they quoted me over £1800 for the zed? I do have an SP30 and a SP50 though
  3. Just got quoted £4815 by Admiral for insurance I don't even want to type what the others quoted
  4. Maybe the OC were all checking out my Volks

  8. Liam's Z has a pair of those eyelid thingies
  9. I would pay Dorian or Spill to come with you. How many supercharged zed has an RAC seen? but by far the best advice on this thread is to get a car and get the kit fitted yourself - there are way too many unknowns here. Try just this one for size, you turn up and the S/C is clattering away (Vortech's clatter) you will have no idea (and neither would I, neither would BigPhil and neither would TDi) whether it was normal clatter (they vary tremendously) or it was worsening over time due to jackshaft wear on the S/C (this happens). Trust me, you have to live with it to get to know stock noises and changes from stock noises. You would have no warranty with Vortech if the jackshaft bearings are shot and you could be into big bucks straightaway. Alternatively, has the oil been changed every 3k miles and more importantly the oil squirter filter to the blower cleaned (with compressed air) at same interval - if that is clogged, it could go bang any time due to oils starvation to the S/C. More pragmatically, are there spare belts with it - £100 to import (I'm not joking); do you know how to set back to stock if a belt breaks - fair enough you can ask someone for advice here. It needs a recent dyno plot, not for power but to show that AFR is acceptable and not running lean - Spill had problems with his running lean IIRC IMO this is a bad idea - sorry Tech stuff is over my head but sounds like perfect advice especially the last sentence imo
  10. No need mate. I was just thinking that if they were stone chips then a full respray of the bumper could be combined with rectifying the Hare issue. If its chip free then a chipsaway guy should be able to sort it.

  12. Cheers I'm determined not to buy it on Saturday, as I would want to sell my zed privately to someone (perhaps on here) who would appreciate it as much as I do.
  13. Car won't be on a lease purchase and will be mine and not a company car

  16. Ok, i'll pass on the pics then, unless i can get a few when i arrive before the salesman arrives to take me out And i'll do my best not to crash it unlike the zed i test drove And Tim, you can have first dibs on the rims. Did i tell you they cost £3k?
  17. Certainly will I would takes pics but don't wanna seem like a dreamer.........
  18. To be fair, it means the zed may be up for sale in the near future which is going to be a massive wrench I'm testing driving an eGear Gallardo to see if I like it or want a straight manual.
