  1. mate There were updates to the JDM spec list in Nov 04 (IIRC) which brought all cars made after this date in line with uk spec. Cars made before this will have minor differences such as you mention but IMO these are very minor. Pre 04 JDMs had 60 ltr tanks Vs 80 litre euro cars. But then certain jdm owners claimed to have put more than 60 litres in their jdms Any of the other differences should be miniscule imo and non existent if you buy a late 04 car. As with any import, you buy cheap and sell cheap. Depending on your budget I would get a uk car if you could. There is one for sale on here for a shade over £14k
  2. Thats just ridiculously fast
  3. LMGT4's in black were limited and only 18" Yes you can just stick 19's on without any issues, I did. No issues with brake calipers if you buy wheels with the correct offsets etc. Offset is how far they stick out of the arches. +18 is very aggressive and will be sticking outside of the car. +38 will be inside the arches and look pants, think Jag E-type. Spacers are used as a cheaper way getting the wheels to stick out more. EG a set of wheels with an offset of +38 may require a set of spacers to get them further of of the wheel arch. Ride shouldn't be any higher as even though the wheels are bigger, the aspect ratio of the tyres goes from 45 to 35. HTH Bloody hell, that must be your longest post this year! And his most informative
  4. well have none of this sexist bo*****s thank you i hate shoppin !!!! Cheap then. I like it.

  10. Are you confusing the 112mph JDM limiter with the top end 155mph limiter?
  11. God I must be old, sorry but never heard of any of them. Never heard of Michael Jackson???
  12. That might be because he's not done 112mph in it My guess is its not been delimited. I'm 99% certain thats what it is. Another thing, jap cars done have a GT pack option. Pretty much everything is an option over there including footwell lighting which isnt available in the UK. Leather, Brembo's, 18" wheels, rear spoiler, Bose stereo, Xenons are some of the main options that you may want to watch out for. Oh and welcome! Hope you enjoy the site. Fire away if you have any more questions... Looking at it, your probably right 6k rpms in fourth probably is about 112mph HKS delimiter needed
  13. what you after. I dunno, just stuff Don't even know where to start! I have a Tubi and Tubi straight through pipes (decatted) so i think sound wise i'm pretty sorted (132 db at full chat) I'm thinking brake upgrades, air intakes, carbon goodies etc. The aftermarket product market in the uk is pretty lame. What do you have access to? I know its off topic so PM me if you want hahahaha sarnie worried about taking something off topic Well not exactly worried just 'concerned'

  15. mate I'll be honest I've never heard of anyone needing a new ECU before. May be worth having a dealer check it out as they may be able to get an error code. Good luck though
