  1. What and frighten away any new female Zed owners. Umm, but can we have a girls version. Then it would be the perfect man. That is the girls version, she's having the time of her life reading the back of that magazine

I park my lambo all over the place. I think people are far too protective over their cars. Its just a piece of metal at the end of the day.
  3. I wonder why....! Because its been detailed its better than new tbh, i saw this guy take a brand new astra vxr and the amount of defects he found were it was literally better than new but i got what you meant sandwich My point was that its relatively new but did not look it before the detail. It now looks new if not better

Been waiting to use this smilie I agree with you mate 100%. One of the reasons the zed did so well was that it was almost £10k less than a TT or a boxster but with superior or at least equal performance. I'd have a UK one at £55k but the most appealing thing for me is supercar performance at a relatively midrange price. I already have a supercar with a supercar price tag. The appeal for me was to have one and bank some cash but I ain't paying £55k for an import or anything above £55k for a UK car. you tight arse!! get your wallet out There's nothing in it, i emptied it out at the Lambo dealers in July, pennies and all

Whats going on in Geneva exactly? Is this what Digsy went to last year? I fancy popping if its some kind of car show. Flights should be cheap as my flight to Geneva in Jan was only £3.99 Geneva is one of the biggest motorshows in the world! Most car companies unviel there new cars there. Others that spring to mind are Detroit and Toyko. For some reason I had heard about the other two just not the Geneva one....

  18. Your probable right. Although a gallardo has been round there in 1:37 in the wet: 1) Middlec (Westfield Mega Busa) 1:24.2 2) Rezzie (Ferarri 430) 1:28.0 3) Duncan C (Dax Rush Hayabusa Turbo) 1:30.2 (w) 4) Pvapour (Maserati 4200 Sypder) 1:33.0 5) Steve H (Porsche 997 Cab 2S) 1:33.4 6) Peter M (Merc CLK AMG) 1:35.8 7) PCM (Suburu WRX Sti Type R) 1:36.5 8) Squirejo (Lambo Gallardo) 1:37.0 (w) 9) Rezzie (Ferarri 360) 1:38.2 (f) 10) Sarnie (Nissan 350Z) 1:39.2 11) David T (Porsche Boxter) 1:40.7 (f) 12) Diceman (Noble M400) 1:41.9 (w) 13) Agent Orange (Porsche 993 GT2 CS) 1:42.0 (w) 14) Morgy (Atom 275) 1:45.0 (w) 15) Madras (Honda NSX 3.0) 1:45.6 16) StevenG (Supercharged Nissan 350Z) 1:46.7 (w) 17) Mini_ralf (Mini Cooper S) 1:50.2 (f) 18) Neil (Lancia Integrale Evo 2) 1:50.2 19) JP7152 (BMW E36 M3) 1:50.4 20) Spartacus (TVR Cerbera) 1:52.8 (w) So I'd like to think I could get round there quicker than that if its dry, maybe even around 1:34-35 ???

Well his last sentence says it all really. There is plenty of time for grey imports to make an impact buuuuuuut the price of the imports are seriously going to put most people off. Importing a zed was always attractive cos of the savings, but with the GT-R your not saving hardly anything, just getting the car early. Import prices of cars already here in the uk will plummet as soon as Q4 of 2008 arrives. I estimate that to get anyone to buy an import off you at that time, so close to the uk launch, you would have to let it go for about £40k to tempt somebody. Now thats supercar depreciation for you. I could be totally wong though but the figures don't add up to me. In the summer of 2009 there will be uk GT-R's available, used, with uk service packs and support for less than £50k assuming a £55k starting price. Looks like I'll be waiting.......
