Gibberish how would you know yours sounds ok, there have been a few reports i've read of zed clutches failing earlier than they should although it is only a few i'm suprised you dont know the basics liam, i bet you think suck, bang, blow is a porn site Mate, I buy cars drive them, come on here and thats it . I don't know **** all about cars and how to fix them. Thats why i always bought a car in warranty so I can just chuck the keys at the sales guy and say ''its broke, fix it''

Wouldn't of thought the seats would be a problem but the airbag on the steering wheel would concern me......
-
you can ask whatever price you want - doesnt mean you'll get it Of course but in his mind he must think he can get that..............

I used to have Galvatron which i loved, I assume you have him but can't quite see him there........

Ok, again, my car doesn't do that yet. Phew, I can blow that £4k something else then it seems

Right ok, thats really helpful actually. I have no pobs once in gear at any speeds, just the initial start up thing worried me. The curent clutch has done about 8k which is not a lot in zed terms but is not obserd in lambo terms. I have the new clutch which others have done 35k on so hopefully I just being paranoid android

Maybe, but I'm yet to see a full set of circumstances were it was a better propositon. Most benefits of leasing usually are, no capital outlay, sometimes maintainence is thrown in, and you get a new car at the end of the agreement, no car to sell at the end etc. Its still dead money imo, and I'm sure there are better propositions out there especially from a business point of view....... agreed mate, its like renting - why would you if you can buy and invest but sometimes the capital can be put to better use or the capital isnt available at that time Of course , but your assuming that I'm talking about using Digsy's capital, which I'm not. Take a loan for the new car. Inject money from old zed sale into the company. Monthly payments won't be far off leasing it. 6 months time business goes @*!#. Options when leasing? None. Send the car back to stop the monthly payment. Not going to keep the company afloat. Options if bought via a loan? Sell the car immediately and inject the money into the business. Ok the monthly payments continue but if the £20k injection keeps the company afloat thus turning it into a profitable outfit then its a no brainer. The worst that can happen is that the car is sold, the money goes into the company, it fails and your left with a loan to pay. I don't think Digsy is the sort of person to go into something like this blind so I'm pretty sure he knows, given time, he's quids in. Alternatives make the mind stronger.......

Yep but for some reason my clutch feels a little funny now................. is it hydraulic or cable ? probably hydraulic i would guess, funny ? it what way ? judder ? slipping ? different biting point ? Hydraulic auto clutch on the E-gear but Liam's is a manual. Right Liam? Yep manual. I may just be getting a little paranoid in my old old. 1st to 2nd gear change is tough, especially when the car is cold. Once warmed up its fine as is every other gear change. Also, when I reverse off the drive the revs seems to increase a bit even though I'm not revving it that high. lomoto said that the car will rev high but go nowhere. Once in gear and the biting point is found there is no problem at all. The 'notchyness' of the gear change is non existant after the car warms up. The increased rev's when coming off the drive concerned me but its 100% fine once its ingear. I've not noticed any difference once driving.

PX'd against the lease car. How does that work? Didn't know you could do that? Can't with most lease co's but I'm leasing from Westway Nissan. So they take your car.......maybe 17k or more....minus it off the price of a new car......£26,700........meaning your leasing a £9300 car???? Is that how it works or not? I've never looked into leasing a car before..

Totally agree, Sarnie. The rear diffuser and spoiler are a complete joke. It may appeal more if it was painted a decent colour. I know it's not particularly pretty but it is one of the race cars rebuilt so expected to look a tad OTT Neil Thats why I said, if it was still in the race colours it might be more appealing but all black just looks ridiculous. I'm pretty sure the 'owners' are just trying to sell it for a commision and have never/will never see the car in the flesh. I bet about 15 companies are trying to flog this.......

+1 - mine has always been high and I like em like that as it makes for faster gear changes So long as its not slipping, I cant see it being a problem. Can someone explain to me in laymans terms what happens when a clutch slips? How can you tell? the engine revs like a bastard ,and you go nowhere (in layman terms ) When the car is in gear and your depressing the accelerator?

You cant envisage the rate going up again in the near future?? 4% by this time next year That's interesting , I would have thought with raw materials going through the roof (steel, copper alloy etc.) , fuel /gas prices rising , food costs escalating(price of wheat has nearly doubled in 6months ) that it was a sure fire bet that inflation would rise Inflation yes, but interest rates will consequently go down , tenner on it 12 months from now a tenner will wing it's way up to Cumbria if inflation is lower than today No the bet is on interest rates at 4% - besides, there are so many measures of inflation, I doubt I can justify paying my lawyer to get my winnings I'll take £100 on the BoeBR being higher than 4% OK , I'll take your bet if you take it until after the Jan 2009 BofE monetary policy meeting - that's 13 meetings from now Its only 12 as they have had the Jan 08 one, but yeah, your on: +4% after the Jan 08 PS: I really hope I lose the best as I'll make a fortune if the rates come down that low......... You can't actually lose, because you will rightly call in the bet if you win, whereas, I won't bother if I do as it's lost in the noise Don't cop out now A bets a bet. I'll pay up if your right and I'll expect the same* *Do you do interest free credit?
-
I thought you would do better with higher interest (ie higher commision ? ) Nope, incorrect. When I visit clients, i want them to be on a high rate and for me to be there with a really low rate. This makes my proposition far more appealing and can justify charging my fee Mortgage commision is negligible and not directly linked to the rate at all. Think approx 0.35% of the borrowing, this is typical
