  3. I had about 200 about my Nismo zorst
  4. I assume that's a typo - you do mean £120 don't you? Two people in the same thread have quoted the same price so I'd assume not
  5. I never want to meet her!!
  6. I booked three holidays today Unfortunately, New designer kitchens, windows, doors, fancy real wood floors, remodeling gardens, building new walls etc etc doesn't come cheap....... Still, my house (where I spend much more time these days) is beginning to look much nicer now! Are you female or gay?
  7. Beautiful exhaust with a hole in
  8. Thats still four comma's in one sentence Which YOI did you go to
  9. The bucket type seats just remind me of the chavvy seats I see in the local chav-mobiles......... The thick leather Brides 'look' expensive imo
  10. I expected him to be asking you where to get them from cheaper
  11. Try telling the missus you've just bought some seat covers that fit rather well +1 your Mrs must think your zed is worth about £5k based on that logic
  12. +1 I sold mine to a guy off here from Blackburn for about £25 i think it was, never heard from him since...........
  13. Even if its only 3p difference why pay the difference for a benefit you can't tangibly feel. Also its an extra 3p for super from a supermarket petrol station who are supposed to use the shittiest fuel going. I filled the lambo up at sainsburies every time as i thought there was no point paying extra for (supposedly) low grade fuel, plus the handbook doesn't specify 97rom+. If it was V-Power then I could understand it. Maybe there is an element of zed owners feeling the need for every single bhp out of their car........( I put super in my zed too, but only sainsburies stuff ).....
  14. Shocking pricing. Not perhaps that clever in a market where even well priced Zeds aren't moving. I agree, especially if they are trying to engineer their margin with cheap kit and wheels being added. I wonder if thay would offer any pics of the car in Japan to clarify................I know I'm cynical but thoses cars shouls be sub £14k imo
  15. The seller also has this for sale: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/463208.htm It has exactly the same kit (V1 rear spoiler, spats and side skirts and a dodgy looking front lip) as the white one. I reckon they import them standard for peanuts, add the kit themselves and cheap rims to make them 'look' more expensive An 03 is only about £8k in Japan, you could get it here for another £3k or so, £1.5k on kit and rims, you've then spent £12.5k on the car and then put it up £17k
  16. Makes an 03 up for same money look waaaay overpriced
  17. Why would you be selling that?
  18. Do you have a link to it as it may be a members car
  19. PMSL How old does that make me?
  20. lol I got knocked out in training the other day, Did Louis knock you out?
  21. The difference can be as much as 10p a litre 10p/litre X 80 litres is £8 £8 a week is £416 a year Overpay a £100k mortgage over 25yrs by £34.66 (£416/12) and you would pay your mortgage off 2 years 8 months saving £11,776 in interest and £20,608 in saved payments over the 2 years 8 months you've saved
  22. I've sold the three cars in my sig privately. The biggest pointer I can give is to get some fantastic pictures of your car done. This can be the difference between someone browsing past your ad or clicking on it. With regard to pictures, get one from all four corners, the engine bay, interior, a close up of at least one of the wheels and maybe even a pic of all the cars documents and receipts. Make sure the car is immaculate when you take the pictures and when they come to view. When people call be polite, accomadating and flexible. If there are any issues with the car tell people, even volunteer the info before they ask. For example, if the rims need a refurb, tell them before they come. They then won't come and be dissapointed by the condition. Also, if there are any issues such as this, show that you have a resolution in place e.g someone who will refurb the wheels for the buyer or that you will do it before they pick up the car etc. The point of this is to avoid any negative conversations. You want to be talking about only positives. One 'trick' is get them to sit in the drivers seat, you in the passenger seat, talk them through the interior gadgets etc and then get them to start her up. The engine note will get them instantly, they will no longer be listening to you but hearing that V6 growl Take them out in it too. Obviously you need to be wary of people, lock your front door and have someone in the house to phone the police or come out with a bat if needed. Depending on how quick you wanna get shot, I always put my car up for sale at whatever the dealers are selling theirs for. This gives you room to reduce it accordingly. Make your ad a real long detailed description of the car. Make it sound like the car has had no expense spared and that they are getting a bargain. Assume that everyone who reads the ad is an idiot. List every conceivable feature, not all people are car geeks like us lot. Specify the difference between your 07 car to an 06 for example. One under rated source for selling cars is eBay. I sold both my zeds to people on ebay. Be prepared for jokers wanting to buy your car for peanuts. A lot of traders use eBay to buy cars that are underpriced. I got loads of offers AFTER the auctions had ended from people hoping that the car hadn't sold and I was desperate to get rid. If I was you I'd stick it up for £22,995 and then systematically reduce it by say £1000 every 2/3 weeks or so. I suppose if you have finance or a loan out for the car then you have to consider the monthly payments while you still have the car. Lastly, don't panic! The car market is very very slow at the moment as the credit crunch bites. The car will sell, how much for will depend on how you apply any of the above. Hope this helps This must be my longest post for about 2 years, I'm going for a nap
