  1. I've mentioned a fair few of these points in past posts. The initial costing of this car is what's decieving a lot of potential buyers and that allied to it being 'only a nissan'. I read about 6 months ago the costs of parts in japan, with OEM brake pads and discs being well over £3k......set alarm bells ringing for me. I also hate all the stupid secrecy. Why not tell us when it'll be released? When can we pay deposits? When will they be delivered? How much will servicing be? How much will they cost? Will the first few years servicing be included in the cost? What will the warranty cost. If you go on the GTR forum there are lots of people with orders down and no idea what they are getting for their money. Nissan have recently sent out confirmations to people expecting 2010 deliveries 6-8 months early so that their £3500 deposits become unrefundable. All still without publishing service and parts costs. What if they take your money and then announce next years services are £2k each every 6k???? The warranty issue is typical really. I never put any weighting on wanting or needing a uk warranty which is why I looked at importing one at first. If it had been financially beneficial to import one I would of done so. To be fair even Lambo used to replace clutches under warranty. No car is bullet proof, so if owners think they can abuse their car and it'll withstand everything then they are stupid. And even stupider if they think Nissan will pick up the bill for them frying their own clutch and tranny. However I would like to know if, I fry my clutch or the tranny with the VDC ON, will they cover it under warranty? Nissan will never convert the doubters who choose other prestige marques over Nissan whilst these pathetic issues exist.
  2. Are you thinking the nismo mud guards to compliment the nismo front? Thats what i would do mate. If you bought Nismo side skirts you'd then have to get a new rear bumper or spats as well. New Nismo bumper and OEM mud guards to keep that OEM look
  3. That's why it's funny. yes you did Actually, Sarnie said 'I'd be rich without this place' Mike 15 luv to Sarnie I think.. To be fair, hardly anyone saw what i originally typed as Mike changed it sorry sarnie I couldn't resist it's ok, I deserve evrything I get
  4. Thats been for sale for sooooooooooooooooooooooo long............I can't think why?
  5. Sarnie

    why?

+1 on all points So that means Sarnie wouldn't be able to sell any car on here? Anyone can post 15 posts in a matter of hours commenting on threads etc. 100 would mean, more than anything, that they have to spend a fair amount of time on the site and can't just come on here and take advantage of the users and resources that people on here have spent a lot of time and effort to build.
  6. Dave, I'll give you £10k for your zed now its 'Damaged Repaired'
  7. Lowered? It looks like a 4x4  Completely wrong tyre size.............
  8. The benefit is that the car doesn't jump forward when the car is started Dave, get the Nismo bumper and some oem mudflaps like the black one that Jamie owns in Jersey (can't remember his username!), very cool and still oem
  9. Prices of these cars and every other used car are falling rapidly. Big engined cars that use loads of fuel and fall into the £400 a year tax bracket will suffer for a long time to come. My one bit of advice is, if your not going to keep the car for at the very least 12-18 months, don't buy one. Marzman stated above that he has probably lost about £5k in only a few months, so if you think you may need to get out of it quick, don't think you'll do so without losing a chunk of cash.
  10. More pics of the lady please

    20"s on a Z

They don't look like ideal zed rims to me............no stagger (8.5j all round)...........275/45 sounds wrong too....... PS: Its not the snow that will damage the rims as thats just frozen water Its the salt that is put on the road to melt the snow that corrodes the laquer.....

    Depreciation

I never though I'd say it, but selling the G when I did was the best thing I ever did! Similar cars are selling for £20k less than I sold mine for in only 8 months!!! Will be keeping my Zed for a long time now. Was going to chop it in for a 370Z when they came along, but dont think I'll be able to afford to the way things are going. What is happening now is mad ... stupid .... ridiculous. Two weeks time, take a view. But, don't worry
  13. As I posted elsewhere, I reckon it should be at least 100 posts. There are now thousands of users on here, why let people just join and take advantage of that? The main point of buying a car off a forum is that the car will have history or at least the user will be known, the same can't be said of new users selling cars, 15 posts or not...............
  14. BRILLIANT The token saturday night Dorian post I was hoping for some more. I look forward to Dorians weekend late evening posts! Make a post about engine 'knocking' 'detonation' or a Dyno and he'll be all over it
