  1. I'd sell up and buy a white one..............who would buy a resprayed white uk car?
  2. Even Ferrari's et al don't have costs like that, its more than a third of the cars cost. An engine shouldn't cost £32k never mind consumables...........
  3. Take a zero off then maybe................

    New Exhaust

anything will be loud compared to stock
  5. You can get the PE kit installed for £6k
  6. That illustrates my point, if those figures are even slightly accurate. If a dealer takes those cars in PX and sells them at the dealer prices then there is only slightly more than £2k profit in the car before they even think about servicing, tax, mot, valeting and warranties... Getting a dealer to knock off £2.5k is unrealistic imo. Dealers have no emotive reason to sell. Your more likely to get a desperate private seller to do that imo........
  7. Its hard to say how much I would let it go for, a clear indicator to me is how much would I pay for it............and to be honest not much more than £500 MAX...
  8. I think the key is to be confiden but also knowledgable. Go prepared, know your market and be prepared to recite to him at least two or three details of other similar, cheaper cars. Make him think his is overpriced. Let him know that its his car you want but at a price in line with the others available. On the flipside if their are no thers available cheaper then tread carefully to secure a deal. If his car is cheap already that does not mean he's desperate and will automatically chop another £2.5k off just because you asked. The market is @*!# at the moment but traders still need to make a profit so they need to sell but i doubt their is £2.5k clear profit in £16k cars at the moment......
  9. I was quizzing Middlehursts on this, but to be fair they've asked the question a 1000 times and not had a commited response..... but they have an inklin. Best guesses at this time.....are: Red that's the same as the 350z (and GTR) so flat not metallic. Silver similar to blade on 350z (like this and I don't think it suited the car, as some have said made it look a bit large in places) Pearlescent White Black The new blue (which looks different everytime you see a new photo) A similar colour (can't remember what it's called) to Gunmetal but has a bit of a goldey tint to it. And a very similar colour which is like Gunmetal but lighter... Agree it looks good in darker colours though..... although the pics I have seen of the white look nice. They had a colour card of the white there and that's nice.... Why are Nissan so dull with their colours, they did this with the GT-R! White Silver Grey Dark Grey Black and then a red and a blue? How imaginitive........................
  10. +1 I really don't see the attraction with old cars. I'm a sucker for digital displays, gadgets and electronic aids
  11. Loved it at first, proper chill out tune to listen to at 3am after a night out. But then at about 4:00 it got all techno 'glowsticks' stylee, which is not my scene. Well it was 15 years ago.......
  12. I'm sure a new zed one is about £170
  13. Just wait 'till the cars back mate Not long now................. ................I hope And to think you had to pull out of Wales may 2008 because your car might not be ready. Just think how much its depreciated since it went into the garage
  14. Are these two sets of rears though? Both are 245 apparently..........
  15. It's so sweet isnt it? You wouldnt believe how low he dropped the price to sell, was an absolute bargain for someone! really? how much did it go for in the end, if you dont mind me asking. or pm me? and when was it sold? cant believe i didnt see it advertised for sale. It was before your 'time'
  16. Small stone inside the caliper somewhere?
  17. Yeah, sorry mean't to add that bit. It was a cracking price at the time and an even better one now when you look at it...

    350z to Z4MC

One strange thing is the fuel tank is only 55l which after the 70l tank on the 350 seems rather small and reduces the range. +1 My M3 was only getting about 250 miles to the tank, i thought I had a leak Untill i filled it up from empty to full and it only cost about £43....... Yeah it's well under £50 for a full tank, I remember it being well over £70 in the 350 when petrol prices were at their worst! For some reason filling a smaller tank more often doesn't seem as bad as a big tank less often even if the amount used is the same. Yeah makes me feel better even though its a false economy
  19. Isn't time these sort of comments should be dead and buried by now!! No. If its boring scuttle back to the OC. Just your comment Sarnie, Just your comment!! Its all about the Zed baby, all about the Zed My retort was in response to Stez jumping on Nixy's comment which I thought was unneccessary, inaccurate and out of order.
