  2. Mine certainly doesn't do that mate, stays true on the straight, so sounds like you're right with your diagnosis
  3. I'm far from being a techy mate but sounds like a pretty major fault to me, probably more hardware related than software I'd say but don't take my word for it!!

  7. Well when I come up for my P2 service soon and want a "competitive quote" without oil, then you can sort it for me! No problem Cool, I'll remember that as they are probably my 3rd nearest dealer anyway, and the 1st one I wouldn't trust with a dust cap on last visit (just a browse). Not convinced about the one I got it from either....... even with it being in M/C. I'll let you know mate. So Lythgoe's is your 1st fav.... P.s don't speak to Andy Don't let me put you off mate, if Liam can get something sorted for ya and he knows someone there (and they'll look after your baby for you) then go for it. Actually Liam, next time she needs to go in can I give you a nudge? If you can poss have a word and get her looked after next time I'd appreciate it
  8. No point me explaining is there? Think I was having a lack of inspiration that day

Sounds like a good shout to me, nice one Liam
  10. I wasn't giving any plugs for their level of service though I'm afraid mate God I'm the complete opposite..... It always helps when you know someone You're absolutely right of course, its always the way mate!
  11. What a choice!! Had em both on a track mate and they're both awesome - you'll need to be changing the clutch every 6k in the Lambo though. If I had the choice I'd prob say the Aston as I love em to death and I think as a daily drive would be less hassle than the Lambo. But that said with the TVR reckon you'd have the same probs so its obviously less of a concern to you. Nice problem to have mate, I'm very jealous!!!!

  13. ...about 9.30ish. 03 plate. Sorry guys no camera with me and my phone is well playing up and wouldn't let me take a pic. But I will confirm that she looked v v nice in the flesh. Not sure how it'll wear given a few more miles though, was starting to look a tiny tiny bit faded already - but that could just have been she needed some wax!!
  14. I think your sig is a great place to start!!! cheers dude!!!!
  15. What a great idea, just wish I was creative!!! Or knew where the hell to start.....
  16. Firstly, I've never been a big fan of Porkers, personnally I can't understand what everyone bangs on about. Ok, they are rock solid and you can use them every day, but you can use a lot of other cars every day too, plus I think they look OK - but if I'm spending that sort of money on a car I don't want it to just look OK. I've driven both the 997 Carrera and the 911 Turbo on a track and the 997 just didn't do anything for me at all. The Turbo was a different beast entirely but, I still wouldn't buy one. Very strange feel to them too, almost felt too light in the steering. For me, if I was to spend that sort of money I'd rather have a Ferrari with a few miles on.

    Anything but them orrible stones!!!
  19. Never heard of an FP1 mate??? Is this where they flush the engine before putting the new oil in? If so they offered me this on my first, said I'd have it and they forgot to do it. The girls at the service desk did tell me quietly that it made hardly any difference whatsoever though.

    Tyres

True, although the Exige is road legal it is to all intents and purpose really a track car. I think the buyers of these cars are unlikely to be running them as daily drivers so I'd really look into the A048s a bit more closely - sorry can't help as I don't know much about 'em.
  21. Sounds like they're having a laugh mate, afaik a clicking would indicate a joint whereas a wheel bearing would be more of a grinding noise. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me. Sounds like they just wanna strip it down and grease it up rather than replacing the part. Mine just need the joint reseating, at least thats what they told me, but I've got 18months of warranty left so figured if its gonna start again it'll start in that time. Don't know how much you've got left on yours mate

    Tyres

I'd steer clear of the 'Stones mate, after the OEMs I wouldn't touch em again with a barge pole. I'm running Falken FK452 which are really good, nice & grippy and decent in the rain. When I was getting these I also considered the Toyo T1R but chose against them as I'd heard the Falks would probably be a slightly harder compound and therefore wear slightly better. It sounds like this isn't too much of a problem for you so you might want to have a look at the Toyo's (I know TheMinel is running these and I think Liams Z also has em, so might be worth sending them a PM for their comments - but they'll prob be along very shortly anyway!!). Haven't had a set of Yokos on the Z but have had them on previous cars and I'd say that they're the best tyres I've experienced - held on forever grip wise but don't last very long wear wise.
