I always thought the bonnet was purely to stop things pinging out at people - remember the ad years ago for oil (might have been castrol) where they used a (iirc) Cossie with a see through bonnet, I thought they didnt' actually want to use a bonnet at all but cos it was going on road it had to have something. I would doubt that theres much if anything structural in the bonnet tbh.

Didn't Vesitas have a carbon bonnet on his Z before he got rid of it? Might be worth PMing him mate

Sorry mate didn't mean to upset you, on the spoiler front just meant that it didn't look like a Nismo, my apologies for my error! Nice badge, as far as the high back end goes just kind of meant that the boot lid going down to the bumper section LOOKED quite long without the badges to break up your line of vision. Right all, I know we all have an absolute nightmare with stealers and finding a decent Nissan one is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I've had a few bits of warranty work carried out by Lythgoe's now and I have to say that they've been bob on (I hope to hell I'm not making a rod for my own back here now), haven't argued about a thing and have sorted it out. Always back when they say it will be too. I did have a couple of niggles but they sorted them out without too much fuss. They also do my servicing and seem to have pretty decent prices.

Not planning on having the car long enough for the clutch to go mate tbh, at least thats the plan

Aye had to pay £74.80 all in it cost me about $455 inc shipping. It was more expensive cause I wanted the pearl black z badges (2 of) if you were buying the normal chrome badges it would be a few dollars cheaper Cool, much appreciated mate

Nice one guys, cheers for all your help. Think I'll take it easy for a little bit, they did have the box out (got to for the clutch) but I would doubt they did the plate etc - prob just the bearing. Neil - the reason I got this done was it was very very noisy and had a fair bit of judder as well as a very strange change on 1st to 2nd. When stationery you could really hear it but if you put the clutch down it kind of shut up. If your clutch is sticking it might be another problem but certainly worth running it into the dealers I'd say mate.

I'm with Flux mate so that doesn't help you, but you could give these guys a try Clarke Roxburgh on 01684 565333. I was with them for years on previous cars but they couldn't get anywhere decent on the Z, BUT at the time I was in a really shocking postcode so they may be able to do better, worth a shot anyway.

But can't you select what you wanted to mark as read? So you could do what you're doing, and just before logging out mark as read the ones you've had chance to look at
