  1. Teach not learn Thanks for that Mike, I'm well aware of the correct Queen's English & grammar for the aforementioned phrase
  2. No it isnt. You need the ones that are specifically made by Volks for the GT series wheels. I'll get you some pictures when I get a minute, Jacko. Took me a while to track these down, nobody keeps them in stock (or didnt when i bought them) in the US. But they can be sourced. Like I say, I'll get you more details tomorrow. That'll learn ya for buying posh wheels Jacko
  3. Hey all - I've just had the bearing done, now this might be a really stupid question (and it certainly won't be my first) but do I need to take it easy for a bit to let it bed it or is it pretty much good to go?
  4. No the nuts themselves have a special allen key type nut I think, but he's giving me the nuts and adapter with the wheels. But these don't lock as such, therefore I'm looking for additional security. But until I actually see them in person, then its difficult for me to visualise what options I have around locking etc. Does that make sense? Makes sense mate, plus with your other post thats what I was thinking, gotta be the same thread. Might just be that the bolts need a special adapter to get them off or more likely start them off (wouldn't fancy having to try to get a bolt off with an allen key!!), which might be enough security anyway. If not sure Halfords will prob have something that'll work.
  5. Might wanna clarify with Bap mate, I'd imagine the allen key type fixing might be to access the nuts - know what I mean kind of like a cover over them?
  6. You did that the wrong way round really Chris, should have asked for the pic first!!! Damn these censor type people.....
  7. Bang on mate, makes you feel like James Bond!!! (and please nobody try and tell me you can do that with a beemer cos you can't) And it sounds like a NASCAR!!
  8. What about the first pic in my sig???? Don't miss the club plates!
  9. I've gotta be honest, I consider Clarkson to be incredibly funny. True he can be arrogant and a bit of a prick. But I certainly don't take him to be a genius of motoring knowledge or to have good car taste (or any taste for that matter) but I feel as long as you bear these things in mind he is entertaining and surely that is one of the reasons for the programme - to be entertainment. I think we'd all like to change things in the programme but at the end of the day they're obviously trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible and quite frankly unless a car programme was done by a true complete petrol head its never really gonna have us all raving about it is it?

    Isn't it always mate?
  11. Sorry mate, ignore the afaik at the start of other post. Was going to put something slightly different but rethought. Obviously the 06 does come with bluetooth connection. Would have edited but someones stolen my edit button!!!
  12. Afaik the 06 does have a bluetooth connection BUT I don't know if it comes with the necessary plug in that you've obviously already bought. Although pre 06 cars came with the base unit and buttons for the hands free calling (via a cradle plug in) it didn't actually come with the cradle - you had to buy it separately. Judging by what Nissan are like with selling the add on bits (and making a shedload more money btw) I'd be surprised if your 06 comes with the adaptor already. Sorry can't be more helpful.
  13. Great shots JuZ, looks like you were right next to em. You're not really Goose are you? I thought he was dead
  14. well done Nick, bet you're happy with that mate!

Ditto Its the only thing I'm not sure about They kinda look like an after thought. From some angles they look @*!# (mainly the ones from the rear) and from the front and the side they look great cos you can't see that they don't go all the way around Not that your car doesn't look good Sarnie, it looks amazing IMO. I really like the look of the Nismo front and skirts, so will probably end up buying them as seperate parts and maybe going for the Speed racing rear valance Good choice mate, the Speed Racing rear is v v nice
  16. Windy!!! glad to have you around
  17. Thought you'd like that mate
  18. If only we knew what it meant
  19. And there would be something deeply satisfying about seeing it smash into a million bits. At least it would be satisfying until you had to go and clean it all up!!
  20. Absolutely right Trak, the lines from the veyron driver are terrible
  21. last night about 8pm. Looked a lowered with some nice black wheels. No kit but what looked like (but wasn't) a Nismo spoiler. Stainless exhaust. Reg was RISH xx Also, and this is the interesting bit, was completely debadged on the back apart from a red Z where the Nissan burger used to be. It looked good initially I have to admit but I think if I was going to do it I'd leave it completely blank. The thing I'm not sure of is that if I looked at it for a while I reckon that the back end would look very high, I know its only a couple of badges but its just the impression I'm getting the more I picture it in my head.
