    Targa Top Z...

Quick, someone send it to Nissan and tell them that if they bring it out that we'll all buy it!
  2. I'm assuming you are talking for another date other than the 10th then seeing as thats the date we all at the Bildworth Zedfest meet?
  3. Yeah. I'm just about to buy a new camera as well ready for the hols, so we can have a proper car photo day!
  4. To be fair, they do look ace. Really nice deep shine..... Like the pics, the fact they are in the car park as well. Looks good..... just shame a little blurry.
  5. I asked Derek about times for Sunday morning...... here was response:- So early enough then!
  6. Photoshop! Its the superdooper wax finish effect
  7. I asked the trader how many miles it had done. "He stated 5000 and was in very good nick!"
  8. One post does not dictate a Off topic rambling..... Multiple "random" mud vs custard slingings between you (Mr Statley) and Liam (Mr Waldorf) does!
  9. ok mate, but just so that you know, you could have got it slightly cheaper through one of the two dealers that both ship the genuine Nissan part...... both give discounts through this forum. Just bear that in mind the next time you need Nissan parts...... I've got one in my 04 and it works fine!!
  10. You got one of these as well mate, or just that you know how to do it etc?

    Tonneau Cover

Yeah mate, can do..... to be honest, if the carpet is thick then it becomes a problem anyway. Need something thin like the stuff they put on the sides of the boot. But will take a look
  12. Wait and see you'll all be spraying them soon I'll spray you some rust coloured fluffy dice as well if you want?
  13. Dear Liam and Liam, I reckon when you two get going, with the banter, that you're like blo*dy Waldorf and Statler! The old whinging men in the Muppet Show! (yeah go look it up you youngsters.....)
  14. LOL! You are just impressed with my efficiency!
  15. Hi mate, They just charged me for one hours labour although to be fair as it was the 1st one that Paul had fitted, it took him a little longer. The rates were due to go up, but at the time it was about £40 without discount. I didn't ask about the discount as it had took longer than an hour so wasn't going to take the mickey. Why, are you having an exhaust fitted? I love it now, got a really nice burble at low revs, then a real howl at high revs. Nicely loud, but not offensively so..... I think it surprised a few people at JAE with how it sounded. If you want to hear it, then we could always meet up. I'm over in Knowsley still quite a few days....... let me know. It also came up nice and shiney, although I would say that there are nicer lookig end pipes out there, as they ain't rolled or anything at the end. Got loads of pics that I never got around to posting about this getting fitted. PM me if you want further info?
  16. Not sure. Some of the other guys that's done similar things will be along shortly, but I would assumed so. Its only like having a pda etc with a GPS receiver inside the car. Get good enough signal.....

    Tonneau Cover

Maybe, but it might look a bit funny and would be hell of a shape to make? Would have to be much more curved etc....... pain in the ass to make. My Blue Peter days are well over
  18. Can't you just mount the unit in the storage area, then have an "external" GPS receiver mounted on the front of the dash, with a wire going into the external source of the unit (I'm assuming its got one). Not 100% sure, but I'd guess something like that would work?

Jim, I'm in the middle of making my own as well. Got a template cut now and piece of wood etc. Just looking for the right carpet to wrap it in. Btw, did you put some rubber around the edge to hold it in place, or did you just jam in? I've got the luggage net now as well so need to ensure that I don't break the clips etc..... If I can get it right (time permitting) then might make some more.....
  20. Guess the only thing with spraying it is to get the quality right, so that you don't get that crappy flakey effect, where you'd have paint then black plastic showing through....... Be interesting to see....
  21. Good man! So where you coming from again? That makes..... TheMinel (Sunday) Lomoto (Sunday) Bluffy (sat & sun M13KYF (Sunday) Jacko (Sunday) Hanel (Sunday) scoobylawGT4 (sunday)
  22. True, but lets face it. It won't be the only place like this. Just that I saw the link, sure there are similar schemes everywhere!
  23. Does anyone know what time we can get there from etc..... doesn't say on the invites does it? If not, then I'll email Derek again
  24. Kev, You sure about the requirement to have a driving licence at the Rally experiences at Silverstone? I did it a few years ago and was surprised by the fact that people did need a licence. It was a full day thing and was probably the best thing I'd ever done in a car...... sliding a rear wheel car with power round corners on dirt just rocks Oh and I was a natural allegedly from the instructors! But back to the point, it was a great day and you learn a lot about car control there as well.......
