  1. Taken from Pistonheads..... http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=14794
  2. To be honest, unless you really need or want a wireless one, I'd just stick with a good old USB wired job....... much more reliable....
  3. Yeah that's why he mentions it. Its only 0.2secs quicker than standard. Bet once it gets going though, that its quick.........
  4. erm, because that second hand one with the APS TT setup does, but it can't get the traction down as its built for drifting?
  5. Tim, it shouldn't want batteries everyday! If you put new ones in, they should last for ages....... I'd check how far the receiver is away. Guess if its on the edge of its limit, then it could be that its using more power to try to boost the signal etc..... What brand is it? My home pc has microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse and they last for ages. That said, I don't use that pc for hours on end......
  6. I wish Mark , no only dreaming.......you boys soon get excited it looks to me like a £15k project to get a Zed looking like that...isnt it gorgeous though?? lol get it done, you are loaded! not 15k for the kit. Maybe for everything. But with your wheels, and that front end etc...... it would rock. I wouldn't go for the side exiting exhausts though, you'd keep burning your little tootsies..... But it does look mighty fine. Although, someone has been carving how many days it took them to do it on the front corner!
  7. So who's kit is that then Tim? I like the front end.....it looks mean! So are you going with this on yours? Is that what you mean?
  8. Congratulations to all! Sure there is more to come. Oh and Digsy, read your PM mate!
  9. So was anyone of those last 6 posts about the Muscrat meet? Nope.... Come on chaps, its every thread at the moment has some random comments...... can we at least TRY to keep on topic? (note I've not deleted anything...... yet)

    badges

Just to confirm. The badges supplied by Funkystying, don't have the mounts that go through the holes on the rear of the car. When I took my front badges off, then there were no holes on the front. If Bluffy has done his and his car had them, then they must have changed it for the 06 model. Either way, it doesn't matter as the badges are flat...... no plastic mounts.
  11. Sorry mate, only just read this now (been offline for a while) and unfortunately, can't make it..... Will have to be Sept one for me.....

Why, what's up with your gearbox anyway? You been grinding, not finding? yeah... usual 3rd-4th gear to 6th gear synchro issue. Will do a full report once it's swapped over. they have it there at the dealer waiting for me already though, good stuff. Ah ok. You used your normal dealer or Holdcrofts as they more friendly?
  13. +1..... Throw him to the "dogs"!
  14. Yeah first time I've seen it...... But only any good if you don't ever carry anything in the boot. Otherwise, first corner and you'd have a nice tin of beans in the cone.....

    Nismo Bodykit

Don't know about the first few questions, but here's an interesting thought.... If the Nismo kit was factory fitted, i.e was on when the car was bought, then its another optional extra, such as mudguards etc...... therefore it's not a modification. I wouldn't declare it unless they specifically ask when it has this kit on from new. You haven't modified, or the previous owner. It was factory fitted...... just a thought?

  17. Probably, but they probably just keep changing the software. I think though, that if you get caught using one. That you can be banned etc.... but not 100% sure on that
  18. He's an idea. Big subwoofer and tonneau in one. Not good if you going to have shopping flying around the boot though.... Seen on pistonheads on random browsing.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/83366.htm
  19. I'm not sure as I've never used one (and wouldn't)...... sure if you Google for it..... ?
  20. Yeah I can imagine!. That's a brilliant present....... Dad award. Cheque's in the post!
  21. I'm assuming you are talking for another date other than the 10th then seeing as thats the date we all at the Bildworth Zedfest meet? ehm I think Bluffy wanted to organise something together with that Yeah thats what I thought, but if we are going to that day, then surely not going to be able to be going Karting as well? Or was he/you talking about after etc?
  22. Yeah but don't forget that some people do use Sniper programs. They work by bidding at the last possible time. Against Ebay's usage policy but won't stop them....
  23. No probs, I guess you have to decide what the maximum is that you want to pay considering its second hand with 5000 miles on, in relation to what Tim said the new prices were..... then you could always set your maximum. If no one else bids then you'll still get at this price. You will find that a lot of people on eBay wait until the last few mins I guess not to give the game away...
  24. Good to hear good feedback about the discount schemes.....
  25. Yes mate, I was referring to the one you've bid for...... Guess the main difference between the second one and the one that you've bid for is that the Pipercross is a proven reputable company, where the second one looks just like a cheap copy by a company called Toyosports. God knows what the performance, style etc would be like, could be fine, could be cr*p......
