Guys, I've had to split this to stop Pete's post about selling his car become a long trail. I've responded briefly to the initial query about low number of posts on that thread. Now I'm going to give you both the benefit of the doubt and I've moved this to an off topic discussion about "posting styles". Obviously you both seem to have issues with how each other posts so therefore this is your opportunity to discuss in an ADULT MANNER (obviously being new to this moderating lark, may mean that someone wiser will come along and change it, but we shall see) I'll have to tidy up this thread as well (or someone else if I can't get time yet). If you two continue to abuse then further action will have to be taken. I'm hoping that it will not come to this. For anyone else reading this, then please be advised that individual posts have been edited to keep things clean, but this isn't a dictatory state, therefore I've left the majority of the thread as it may assist in the long run. But one major point Liam. Whatever you believed the intentions of David's post was, you can't resort to abuse as you wrote. It adds no value to either the post, or to people's perceived view of yourself. Knowing you personally, then I'm going to assume you had a bad day, or have read into something further.... David, although you rightfully said that personal abuse is not acceptable, then to join in yourself, probably isn't the right way to progress. Otherwise you are liable to be perceived to be as bad. But please do not use this forum as a method for stoking up an argument..... I'm hoping that you are both cooling down now, and lets put it down to Monday morning crappy moods? (oh and btw, if either of you want to discuss the way that I have handled this, then please contact me by PM)

With regards to this forum Ming, it is such a friendly place and I would hope that you continue to see that, I have in the short time that I've been here. To give Blacky the benefit of the doubt, I think it was meant to be a joke, but maybe in light of things was a little close to the bone. I mean Blacky, Ming probably gets such "jokes" everyday by someone who has been "badly treated". Also, its probably not the best idea to post feelings about anyones profession, there are probably crap plumbers out there but its not fair to treat them allas one. I would consider how your post may have come across to Ming in light of his profession and the abuse he probably faces every day.We all hate to get tarred with any brushes! I mean, that makes me a boring, sad, IT Geek I would hope Ming that you take Blacky's reply that it was a joke (how ever bad taste it may seem to you) at face value and lets try to move on without this escalating. So basically, to close all this off (as sure people are getting really bored of my wheel questions ) If I go 9.5"x19" ET30 front on 245/35/19 and 10.5"x19" ET30 on 275/35/19 rear, then I'm going to be fine, they won't stick out too much and no rubbing etc..... Yes, the "standard" Rays are rear: +33 on 8.5"x18, front +30 on 8"x18

Ok so I was planning to put 275/35/19 on the new rear 10.5 ET30, going from a 245/45/18. I was told that this tyre would still be ok on a 10.5" as opposed to a 9.5" So what would that work out in relation to tyre width vs rim width?? Now I am getting confused!
