  1. I bought a limited edition automatic Tag Link a few years ago. Great watch in my opinion.

My (limited) advice is to buy something automatic and from a proper watch maker.

Wheres Lomoto when you need him? He's King of watches!

Hi Stew.. hope you are well and the Zed ??., Cant beat Omega's IMO.. recently bought a Planet Ocean Chronograph..very nice item

I'm pretty sure I got one in the bottom row out of a cracker in 2008.... :p

    Very nice Tim

  2. The Cayman S is an extraordinarily good car to drive, great feel and suspension set up. I had a few hours in one when I was looking at adding to the stable!

But it doesn't do enough for me to be almost double the price tag over a 350 / 370 sadly....

To the original post on the 370 over a 350, the personal view aside then the place it is definitely more capable is on track IMO. It is so much more capable! :)

  3. ...a set of mats?! Not seen this noted on here before...

There is an optional extra available on the GTR, being a set of 4 mats with deep pile, enamel GTR badges and dry carbon heel inserts. How much would you bid??

Bet it's not the £904 Nissan want!! :scare::lol:

  4. Hey, just found this thread and though it would be a good little project for when i get home.

Just wandering, i noticed that you say there are 3 wires to tap into "black, red and pink" however most of the LED bars a have found are only + and -, am I missing a trick here?

    Cheers

    R

    two wires :-

connect the live + to the red and black wire

connect the negative - to the switched earth on the pink

    Blimey, he's back!!

  5. The Mrs went through Albany for her Lotus repair. We ended up in court for all sorts, won the case comfortably, but in my experience it is not the way to go.

Prestige really isn't that far, I'd encourage you not to discount it, they know what they are doing (with insurance companies too, the Lotus got twatted 3 times while we had it!).

  6. Yes, just give them a call and register the claim. The rest is up to them. Where are you based bud, we may be able to recommend a bodyshop. Kuro isnt the worst colour to match. :)

Crowthorne / Bracknell / Hook / Hartley Wintney.

Perfect Paint in Sandhurst have got good reviews plus they were the ones wanting to replace the bumper.

Look up Prestige paintowrk at J12 of the M4 - top quality paint shop and will do an awesome job. :)

  7. Insurance IMO. Think about all eventualities, like if the repair isn't to your satisfaction, or if it takes 3 times as long due to part shortages or more damage than they think.... Safer all round.

  8. Not a fan of snowfoam either tbh.
