  1. Roll of cling film - cover all electronic and intake areas with it

    Autoglym Engine & Machine Cleaner

    Hose with no attachment

Assortment of old toothbrushes and bigger brushes

    Terry towel

    AG Vinyl & Rubber Care

Do the cling film bit, then lightly rinse the engine bay and remove the big non greasy bits you can see.

Then spray the E&MC over and agitate with the brushes.

Rinse again - check you got all the bits you wanted to

Use terry towel to wipe over and dry everything

Apply V&RC to get the finish you want on the plastics

Take for a drive to warm everything up and get rid of residue water (and then get back and wipe over again, it will have streaked! ) Just don't touch anything hot!

Oh, and start this with the engine cold.

  2. Pop charger = American for cold air intake, made up by someone called Jim Wolf (sp?). It's somehow a very popular item, despite a lot of people changing back to standard air box...

K1 = the name given to an exhaust that a former (now very sick) trader on here sourced and sold - now used as a name by Japspeed. It's a relatively cheap exhaust for the Zed, many have had fitment issues from I have seen.

Search button will reveal a whole load more.... ;):)

  3. We do Nectar with Ford, Sainsburys credit card and some of the other DIY places and the like that take it.

BA Amex for the normal spend

V Power Club (and Amex spend) on fuel

    This lot gets us:-

    Free Xmas food shopping

Free flights to the States each year for us both (about £300 in taxes for business class)

About £55 of free fuel a year

  4. There will probably be an 80:20 split on 458 buyers anyway.

80% will probably be putting them next to their existing F430 which is sat next to their wife's California.

20% will be the lease / hire / first timers that won't be upgrading.

The 80% won't care about the money as much, it is play cash and probably more governed by where they can put it than how much it costs. (Also the fact that people are investing in cars at the moment helps hold a lot of prices up).

The 20% will just be paying interest for a long time

You could have the same discussion about the 360 to the 430 though. Look at the upgrade costs there. Basically they are an evolution of the last one, but Ferrari seem to leap forward rather than step.....
