Everyone will recommend something different as speakers are really down to personnal preferance. I wanted a full JL install so went for JL speakers and amps with an Alpine headunit as i think they sound the best.
Remember car audio is all about the install and setup not just how much you've spent on equipment.
+1 on that - and a man after my own taste in equipment!

Brave man!! Only got above -2 here yesterday so no chance of cleaning anything. Zed is tucked up though!!
Pics look great, nice to see a gleaming car in these conditions
-
Listen to a few and see what you like. Personally, JL, Hertz or Rainbow (unless Genesis Absolutes are int range!!)
-
Plenty of places to get the parts from.
And most parts are identical, with many differences often just being cosmetic. All Zeds come from the same factory in the world so you should be fine using any replacement bits. Good luck getting her fixed.

Your locations says West London - depending how far you'd travel, I know of a top quality bodyshop in Reading, but it'd be a bit of a trek. Otherwise, I don't know of any first hand that are closer....

Not new no, they are relatively rare.....
(sorry, not selling at the mo though )

Shine V2 with Carbon Lip and Black Canards
I think there's only a handful of people out there that like the Canards on the V2
I like them when the rest of the car is styled as aggresively to go with them. But black Zeds can look pretty mean, that's nice IMO
-
Go on then (splitters carbon btw not black)
If you have to tell people it's not cool anymore - and here's pics of my GENUINE NISMO v2 (yeah, not cool now I know! )

Had a look at the car again earlier and to be fair there isn't much damage compared to the size of the impact and the damage to the other guys car. The guy hit me full on the drivers side wheel but there isn't a scratch on the wheel at all......
If a Fiesta crumples as easy as his did, I'm glad I was in my car and not his............................
It's the crumple that absorbs the impact mate and not the chassis / passenger compartment - crumpling in the right places shows the designers thought about safety. If the Alfa stood up well then tin foil doors are the way forward
-
Just don't take the courtesy car mate
Sorry to hear it, at least you're ok

Be very carfull with the arches as they are plastic, so don't dwell to long on those areas, as DBlock said there middle wearing to soft, just do a test area with a light pad and polish combination and work yourself up till your achieving the desired results
I was going to say never mind about the paint, the front wings themselves are soft!!
I would imagine it to be middle of the road to be honest. It's not German or Swedish hard but nor Jap soft. Only polished a couple of French cars in my time, not owned one myself...

Thanks people - Finley is still doing well. Got us wrapped around his little finger!
-
As requested - him in his going home outfit!

Some of you will know that we have been expecting our first baby...
Well at 00.34 on Sunday morning Finley Matthew was born weighing 7lb 12oz.
We are all back home now after Becca got through the birth brilliantly. The whole thing lasted less than 6 hours from beginning to end which is astonishing!
So, will a Zed still be cool by the time he's old enough to sit in it??

Toyo tyres
in Tyres
I would agree, the Toyo is a better dry tyre than it is wet (T1R) but it's not bad. I have driven worse (P Zero Nero - shocking)

Toyo tyres
in Tyres
My Toyos did well enough on the road and track (for about 10 mins when pushing), had them on all 3 cars at one point so no complaints here
-
And at least you'll have some back seats Nixy.....
Beware the early 1.3 pushrod engines, not great. Also think Fiesta

I think it was a typo - mag, not msg

Missus just bought a supposedly "new with tags" watch for her mum off ebay. Only a cheapo £30 job (should be £50 new). When it arrived it has clearly been worn for some time as the plating is wearing off the clasps and shoulders, and the battery is dead, making it at least two years old Id guess.
I really cant abide people who are dishonest on ebay. bloody annoys me.
I thought eBay was cyber language for 'Only 20% of the stuff is real / worth it'!

Whatever you do, DON'T get a Ford KA. Reluctantly, I traded in my Mondeo 2.0 TDci when I got the Zed because the wife said it was too big for her to drive and she couldn't park it. She still can't park the KA, we can't comfortably get passengers in and out of the rear seats we may even have to drive it to Brussels soon so that we can carry an extra passenger if need be!!!
She wanted it, she'll have to get in the back
-
As I said, it may hit when going downhill as the bumper makes the car longer
(assuming that is what you mean by avoiding multistoreys?)
-
It is the depreciation and extra bits you will have to spend on for the Zed that will make the difference...
First wash and drive out for a month *pic Heavy*

Love that Exige. Would be what I would get if I had a track car choice to make me thinks.
Now James, where is the footage of the drive bys on that rather straight road?!?!
