  1. Quickly edited - but doesn't show?? OK, now you've gone and caused Ming even more problems. Now it's gonna get messy!
  2. Have you been doing searches on me Dorian??
  3. Take a look at the FAQ section and the warranty section for the most commonly known issues. Gearbox should feel chunky and solid, but not an effort. Some people have cold start glitch with getting into first I think. Nothing much other than that. The rear axle click is normally at low speeds and sounds like a slightly louder tick than an exhaust cooling down. Not heard of it while braking before....
  4. Oh dear, now you're gonna be disappointed!! Will just have to make an effort! Is there a map / postcode / directions for this yet?
  5. Think we need to go down there and act as protection for Jane, Sarnie's clearly reached boiling point!!! Not surprised with the stocking comment though!!

    2009 350Z

Haven't seen this on here before, but quite interesting...... http://news.windingroad.com/auto-news/r ... th-next-z/ With a video, including an unmasked GT-R shot - you have to get past the 20 second Mazda ad tho. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Ge ... eId=117040 Now I'm torn!!!
  7. Bit more text froma different source. http://news.windingroad.com/auto-news/c ... n-skyline/ It says 2008 Skyline so I'd say 18months until deposit required as a minimum. Just imagine, two clicking axles........!! Does look awesome, all depends on whether this upgrade kit comes to fruition or not now.....
  8. But the GM's shone out more, from Stevie's lips!! Was good to meet you all, and useful to compare notes knowing exactly what people mean! Also spotted a few places I can go to add a few touches for the challenge.....
  9. No worries, am meeting up with captint. Next time!
  10. Makes the front end look like one of those wierd BMW shark nose two seater things (can't remember for the life of me what it's called, saw one yesterday too! ) with the nose and gills.

    been cleaning

Amazing result in a short space of time! Longer lasting effects with better waxes and Autoglym wheel treatment. Looks good!
  12. What time will you be going?? Be nice to have more than one Zed there!
  13. Sorry, thought you'd be dealing with the importers directly. They run Four. That's why I'm intrigued. They look nicely built and come wwith some nice comments. Focal Beryllium stuff is well expensive and not sure it's often that many times better than other kit!
  14. Yup, ME! Number 64 on the list (Teamshock is a local modded forum, they helped out with the stolen car fiasco) Anyone else??
  15. Have you heard them before? Four have only just started taking them in. Am looking at their Mille 3-ways for the front end. Looks very good Rob. Let me know your opinion of the subs? Am toying with going for a total brand change this time. I take it Brian and Jas have been helpful then!!
  16. Try this, great boutique hotels. http://www.mrandmrssmith.com/luxury-hot ... on-hotels/
  17. Nice work Ming. Were you able to hit him with the extendable bat?

    Heating

Pretty much, yeah, but it's down to the accuracy of the heat sensor in the car from that point! The aim of the climate is to get the cabin to a temperature and then keep it there. As for the dew, not sure how strong the heating element is as to whether it'd be very quick, but it should clear it.

    Tyres

That's what I'm trying to get to. Apart from a time when I couldn't get my hands on Yoko's (the BFGoodrich and Falken days), I've always gone for Yokohama's. Never tried Toyo's and need to know what's the best to go for. Just don't seem to be able to find anywhere to do the Toyo's for less than £630 (albeit fitted) - can be done cheaper?
  20. Enjoy the forum and most of all the Zed!

    Heating

The climate control is the car trying to get the cabin up to the heat you select as quickly as possible. Just the same in the hot weather when you put it on 25 or 18 it will still blast cold air until it gets to the ambient temperature you select.

    Tyres

No the ZE512 as i dont have the zed yet, they were for my MG. I have never really liked falcons in the wet as they are so hard and just seem to spin, however in the dry and when warmed up, they are amazing i think I had some of them on my Volvo and found the same, that's why I'm interested what people say about the FK452's as I don't want spinning in the Zed! When I changed the fronts to BFGoodrich (awesome in the wet) it turned my front wheel drive brick into an ice cube in winter wonderland. Great for scaring passengers!

I presume you got the Falken FK452's? Anyone have any experience of these?
