  1. You will need some long nose pliers to remove the clips that keep the retaining bars in, and then some normal pliers (sure they have a name) to pull the pins out. Oh, and a steady hand so you don't scratch your nice Brembo paintwork! Other than that, something to push the piston back in the caliper to get your new pads in.
  2. Volvo S60R AWD! Or A V70 T5 AWD. Or a Land Rover Defender!!

Good man. Straight line is easy. Take 'em on the twisties... I am curious though to pit it against others as i would struggle to think of any other road car that could beat it once its in gear. Off the line drags are not for the G and its stupidly lightweight clutch This would smoke your car Sarnie. (Martin Hadland's own car. Since he totalled it a few years ago in Morocco in the Gumball he's built a complete new one which is even more extreme. The engine spec is quite secret.) http://www.reyland.co.uk/projects/Reyla ... /index.htm I believe his latest engine is now Dyno'd at over 700 bhp. I also have to mention Steve Scott's Ex Carlos Sainz WRC Escort. I've been on track when he was out in this and it was miles quicker than anything I've ever seen at Donington by a long way. He came into the pits when I was wiaiting to go out and his brakes caught fire becasue he was pushing so hard and obviously didn't do enough colling down laps. Awsome car. He's currently running 600 bhp and has contended the last 2 years in the British Ford Saloon Car Championship. Steve is an ex Rally Car driver and runs A1 Rally Sport at Sandy Nr Bedford. See http://www.fordracinguk.com/documents/2 ... 07_000.pdf I agree with what your saying, and of course they'd smoke the G, but when I said road car I mean't a normal totally unmodified car off the forecourt not ex rally cars Sarnie, I reckon a top fuel dragster would have you from a rolling start at the Pod Come on Kev, what's your point I reckon after about 6 times trying I would smoke the Lambo at Santa Pod in the Volvo...... The clutch would still be in one piece as the front wheels scrabble to place the 140bhp onto the tarmac. The Lambo would have a £3k service! I reckon the Lambo could have a service after the green light and still beat the Volvo True, they should be quick at it replacing as many as they do!
  4. I can see these becoming the new 'stubby aerial' mod....!!

  6. At a guess a new stanley blade?
  7. I don't use wheel or tyre cleaners, other than water. Wheel cleaners are acidic full stop, and unless you dry all of your wheels each time you will never stop it eating your wheels. I have also yet to find a tyre gel / finisher that doesn't cover the arches or paintwork after driving it for the first time. I use it at shows, and then wipe it off before driving.
  8. Any chance of this being brought back to life, anyone out there??
  9. Not sure if this is the right place....... Anybody fitted these? Do they do the job properly?
  10. Anybody using one of these? Comments, info etc? Cheers.

    That's what I would've said anyway.
  12. Looks like someone likes their Z cars, with a bit of FI!! Welcome, as people have said you should be able to find the rear you want from MJP or Holdcroft. Otherwise UK eBay have them come up a fair bit. Very impressed with the quality of that bonnet (hood!) and that front end.
  13. Sounds nice! You need to start a thread with pics! Welcome to the site.
  14. The end of the film indicate more than rumours!!
  15. Souper Trouper by ABBA in the UK and Lady bt Kenny Rogers in the US! Rubbish both sides of the pond!!
  16. Correct. They'd waft down a country lane before turning into the neuveau riche 6 bed detached with pool built by their own building firm 'Bodgit, Legit and Nickit Ltd'. I like em overall. Not my cup of tea styling wise, but they have their place. Outside a church, for a wedding.
  17. Adam, you need to put a fundraising totaliser up so we know how much more of our ££Â£'s to spend with you so you have enough $$$ to come over!!
  18. Check that the drainage tube in the engine bay isn't blocked. On a warm day after having the air con blasting it should deposit the liquid on the ground. If not, it's probably blocked or disconnected.
  19. I guess my concern is what level of consumption is dangerous, and what are the indicators to prevent it? Last thing I want is my exhaust propelling rods down the motorway!!
  20. Road trip, golf, drinks, golf, road trip......!! We should plan something!
  21. After the reply to my question (kindly provided by Mike), if these deposits are down to oil consumption, if oil levels in the engine stay constant between services is that a green light that all is ok?
  22. I've played the Belfry a couple of times, it's a great course. They've made it longer which really makes it more challenging! I need to play more often, we should organise a day somewhere, only requirement being you have to still have your boot sticker in the Zed!!
