McClaren said they didnt use the info. The FIA have not found they have used the info either?
What they actually got punished for is that they could use the info.
I still feel ferrari should be punished. An employee is acting on behalf of the company is he not? If he is then Ferrari along with McClaren should be punsihed. If not the only the McClaren technician should be punished and not McClaren.
Punishing McClaren for what they can potentially do is wrong in my eyes. It should be innocent until proven guilty. If they are found to have used the technical data for there future car then by all means throw the book at them, surely thats why they've had the FIA in there pit garage and at there headquarters looking around?
