I had my last service (P3) done in April last year, at 34779 miles. When do I get it serviced next? 1. 9,000 miles on? 2. 12 months on? 3. When total mileage gets to 45,000 miles? Am having a brain fade moment over this!

It is a very nice gesture, and given it isn't really a big deal (just start with a different colour body!) for them to actually do it I think they come out of it very well. A connection of long service, and enthusiast might be enough, especially when there is only 500 being made anyway. Nice one Renault! And to answer the question, I don't get the feeling Nissan would do it, but then who knows how close they are to consumers in Japan....

TAG do the same. I had one stolen in a burglary and I found the replacement online but the insurance company wouldn't allow me to buy it and gave me vouchers for a heck of a lot more to get the replacement model.....!!

It is only 4 1/2 minutes of weightlessness and the distance away from earth that is 'officially' making them astronauts, and the flight only lasts about 2 hours. I don't see any reason why it won't happen, just don't quite get the point......

Whats the point of holding out getting max profit from a niche market car when its better to lose a few quid, sell it and your likely to get the follow up business with servicing etc when you can really fleece them! My Dad has struggled through times like this for the last 30 years, and that sort of attitude is all too common from Joe cowboys who rock up thinking they are the nuts. Dealerships want a quick turnaround of cars. At the end of they day, there is a cost of money in holding all of that stock....

Alpine do a head unit with bluetooth for the phone, FULL iPod control (not just an aux.) and an additional aux control. AKAIK (and is what I am expecting in mine! ) the steering wheel controls should be able to be maintained using another piece of trickery they sell. So what you want should be possible. That way, you can slot your old BOSE headunit striaght back in when it comes to selling on to someone as blinkered as Sarnie! But to do this you will need to go and visit a decent ICE installer, and not be buying cheap US headunits - they make their money on kit and add value with a decent service and overcoming these sorts of problems.

Car dealers are ultimately measured by registrations, not sales, as that is what gets published out there. At the moment my Dad's place is watching used cars go quite readily, and new is a struggle. But then that's what interest rate hikes do.....!! If dealers would rather not give an extra £500 off a car now in the hope of selling it is 4 months, they are mad. The risk doesn't make sense, but it'll be his loss when it is still sat there!

Correct, any Nissan dealership will uphold the warranty as long as the car has been serviced correctly The warranty is with NMGB though, not the dealer.....

cheers buddy. thats all i need to know. i thought that would be the case. i think my new head unit will be over 25w per channel. as it cost £400. so all in all jobs a gooden. cheers The high low wires aren't power but the 'level' of the signal. ie what the amp needs to work with. If Chris used high then you should be fine doing the same.

£16k is hardly the lower end of anything except houses! Most people never spend that on a car let alone a watch! I have a Tag or two, but my boss has half a dozen limited edition Rolex's / Breitlings etc. that he buys with his bonus each year. Some of them just look silly though IMO.

Take a look on Expedia and you can get an amazing deal on Rome at the moment. It doesn't send that signal, I survived it! If you do go, the Franklin Feel the Sound is quite good, it is at the Vatican end of the city and each room is a bit chic and has Bang and Olufsen CD players. Quite reasonably priced too, and there is the best restaurant I have eaten at for the money two roads away. Owned by an ex Italian rugby player you eat outside and 5 courses, wine, desert wine and all sorts only cost us about 85euros. When I was speaking to them, it cost £1 per bhp shot you took. But they only ever started you with tiny additional power and you had to take the car to them for them to make sure everything was running as it should be before giving you anything more than that.
