  1. Good luck with the project and welcome to the club.
  2. Cheers guys. I thought the time might be right now!
  3. Cheers. For the record, we started going out when we were 17 and 16.
  4. I wasn't going to ask when we were in our teens was I!
  5. While we were on holiday, it was mine and Becca's anniversary (a decade!), and I arranged a little change of hotel..... and a diamond..... and she said yes when I asked her to marry me! Donations in the form of petrol tokens to drag the Zed to shows gratefully received!!
  6. Am back and will get onto this ASAP. I know it's not long. If nothing has been planned anywhere, I will make it as big as we can for the show.

    GTR spotted

And the interior really is surprisingly good too!

    Dilemma

Sounds to me like you 'lose' £2k to 'gain' £4k. In which case, no brainer....
  9. The AG stuff has always worked well for me. Kept the Volvo, Lotus and Zed in tip-top condition.
  10. Radar detectors are simply alarms to tell you that you have been zapped. They don't give you any time to get your speed down, because the signal has already gone back to the gun by the time your brain has even registered the alarm. They are there as a gimick, no more, and the manufacturers never claim they are there for anything specific.
  11. Congratulations to you both. Hope you had a great day. Did you use the Zed as a wedding car??
  12. Yeah yeah, what he said. I just haven't bought any for a while!
  13. You won't need a special wax as such, but there are loads to choose from. If you get it detailed, the detailer should be able to recommend some products to keep the finish up. I would get some wax to top it up (P21S is good, but not the longest wearing, Dodo Juice is great too), a quick detailer for between full waxes (Poorboys QD+ is very good, as is Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer). A stock pile of microfibre clothes (check eBay) a waffle weave towel (Megs or Poorboys) and the two bucket method with a wash mitt should see you right. Oh, and a decent wash (Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II or Citrus Wash n Gloss are both very good). HTH. As for metal, I use Brasso!
  14. Welcome to the club. Sorry to hear the story, a lucky escape. Do you have any big mates and a couple of baseball bats? Waiting outside for a while could bear fruit..... I can't help with the technical stuff to stop them getting in the car without causing a longer term problem, sorry. Can you box the car in until you get a solution?
  15. You would say that tho wouldnt you Rob! Haha Im seriously considering it - 21days delivery....The mouse pointer is getting ever so closer to the buy button. Is it secure to order parts from Japan? its from japanparts.com I don't know what you mean mate! Although at those prices, the HKS does look a lot more attractive, looks like Adam is the way forward.....
  16. Welcome Fletch. Sounds like you have your work cut out up there!!
  17. Great pics Adam, nice one. Good to see people getting out there and meeting up
  18. Welcome to the site - still waiting for those pics!

    Some ice equipment

Then you're a bit stuck bud. Although the guys at BBG really aren't ones to leave customers with a bad experience of a JL product in the UK. If you dealer go it through them, they would support it and help you out where they could.
