1800 on the OC before my access was 'revoked' Plus zillions on clubscuderia,lambopower, PH, streetsleepers, edition 38, GTROC and others I can't remember! Looking at it now I feel a bit guilty, better do some work And where do you rank in worldly posting achievements on any forum??

It could also be the throttle position sensor, which can need resetting after an intake change. I did this and the ECU with mine.

That isn't all that causes pops and bangs!! Jeez..... It is a flow of air down a pipe, and as revs change that will change the force that the air (and some fuel) is forced down the pipe. Depending how it is revved and lifted off and revved again, the noises will change. Do an ECU re-set if you want to. Then go and get a dyno graph and you will see it will be fine. It's got me thinking though, how do all those popping and banging rally / touring / formula one cars last? If shelling out £50 I'd make it a full tuning company!

I have a couple of guys at work say similar things, and they drive diesel Astras. I can only aspire to hit such heights......

If the left fron speaker isn't working, then you have a faulty BOSE headunit....... Known issue I'm afraid, I'd send it straight back! And if the trim doesn't sit right, AFAIK there is a difference between the 03 and 07 MY cars so if the wrong one has been put back then it may have a gap.
