Well I wasnt planning to modify the car when i got it, its you lot on here the bug is contageous . Yes they were genuine M3 wheels and they did fit had this discussion on Bimmerforums and so i went to try them before I bought them and they fitted quite nicely only thing to do was reduce the profile of the tyres to keep the rolling radius closer and have a bit more clearance just in case, but that wasnt really necesary as they fitted any way. Ive got cuple of pics on my fone I need to try and get on to the comp. Surprises me as your car will run an offset of around 45 and the M3's run around 25 with a wider rear wheel.

+1 am insured myself with Sky and they covered the lot for me for a cracking price! I suspect the insurance company want more for your wheels as it will increase the risk of it being stolen. On a side note as well, if they are genuine E46 M3 wheels, they won't fit your car

There is a blade Z I know of, looks like it has gone sideways into a pole or something, has B-Pillar damage and roof damage upon impact. Engine is still in but is missing lights and bumper etc. If it's of any interest then let me know.
