  1. I thought 25mm on the back of mine was perfect. Digsy, am I right in reading in a previous thread that you had 15mm on the front… That's right but the 15mm wasn't enough IMHO. I think a 20mm front and 25mm rear would be perfect. I think this is what Chesterfield now has.

  3. Toyos on my car and think they are magic. Also heard VERY good things about Falken. Everyone i have spoken to who have ever used falkens on any car got them because they were cheap, and have always found they grip accordingly. A point i can remember: On the way to the last Wales meet, i was driving up with ClarCE, who had recently changed his tyres to Falkens. I had just fitted new Pirelli P Zero Assimetricos on mine, driving the same trip (same lanes etc... on motorway) there were places where he Aquaplaned badly on the motorway, where as i with the pirellis, had no problems. This shows me that the Falkens have a lot less wet weather grip. As the only thing between the road and the car = tyres, personally i would not scrimp on them and buy bidget brands, that deciusion could cost you the car one day! I never had any aquaplaning problems with mine - far better than the 'Stones in that respect.
  4. Good luck with this - we haven't had anyone fit a Milltek AFAIK in the last 3 years. I agree its a quality exhaust but you are aware that its barely louder than stock?

  7. Make sure you use locktight on the nuts holding the spacers on. Tell me more... Just that within a day or two of fitting mine, I started to get a noise from one of the front wheels that sounded like a wheel bearing breaking up. On closer inspection I noticed that the nuts holding the spacer onto the hub had started to work loose so I applied some locktight and torqued them up tight and then repeated the process for the remaining 3 wheels and haven't had a problem since. No different to fitting new wheels with new nuts really - need to check after a few days but rather more fiddly to do. Demon Tweeks did my spacers up so tight my local garage struggled to get them off...
  8. Hi and welcome, mate! Used to spend a lot of time driving in the Peak District in the early nineties. Great roads but I suspect it was a bit quieter then....

  11. Have to agree with Shire. There will always will be a handful of folk who will have the funds and desire to buy at that price but they will be few and far between. What I don't agree with is any notion that price of new Nismos rocketing will drag up secondhand prices. Stick another £10k on the price of an MG TF and there would still be a few weirdos who bought one but secondhand prices wouldn't go up.
  12. Its pricey and has been around for a very, very, very long time. If they won't shift considerably on price, walk away. Any heavily modded car will be more difficult for you to move on later.
