    KEYED!!!!!!

I was having a bad enough day only to find some snivelling little sh1t has keyed my passenger door right outside my f@cking house! I've spent some time this year getting the Zed just how I wanted it and after the NW run I was buzzing. Just some Zed burgers and it would be perfect. I was really looking forward to showing off at Silverstone with everyone else. Now, hot on the heels of the kerbed alloy I've completely lost heart. I think I'm going to get it fixed up, sell and plough the dough into a business venture I've been talking about. I just don't think you can keep a nice car how it should be living where I do and using it as a daily driver. The scratch is about a foot or so long and down to the metal. Anyone know any good bodyshops in the area and care to hazard a guess how much it might cost me? I'm right royally ****ed off!
  2. You'd be surprised that I did (not like meets which is not my bag) contact my mate who lives in Worsely to see if we could travel into town. He didn't want to come along himself and TBH as I work (and sometimes travel) late in London, I did not want to stay there and travel alone (even less not knowing the area). I don't really do couches On the plus side, we sold our house today and will be (99%) moving to this gaff within 8-10 weeks which is rather more North than South - I'm really made up bout this since it has a Holiday Cottage attached I'll admit that I am a bit of and old duffer - but I like a few beers, so if you'll have me, I would like to meet up the next time (if Tim comes to give me moral support ) Where's this nice pad then, D? We could all come round and visit you.

    HOLY COW!!!!!

Gorgeous but completely pointless in the UK. I'd take a CL500 with the Brabus kit and wheels and pocket the difference.
  8. No chance you'll get a good enough deal to keep it then - prob. need the hard cash for your house I guess? I wish, thing is i can keep her and get a place, but i dont want to struggle, i want to get my place, be at ease and get used to the payments and living costs for 6 months, then get one. Plus im set on the idea of a white one now Always a few hidden costs crop up over the first few months. Still not convinced on white myself - definitely needs a good bodykit It will be having the Nismo V2 kit with carbon canards and rear carbon blade, set of Volks, teil coilovers and Borla exhaust Loving everything but those canards, mate.....
  9. GT-S? Thought you were sick of seeing that now mate Sick of pics and write ups but would love to see/hear in the flesh.
  10. Didn't the Stig crash the last Koenigsegg they tested?
  11. Polished not chrome. Mardy, my arse!
  12. Very conservative. My SF Challenges are +21 front and +23 rear There's nothing actually wrong with those offsets and I've seen plenty of Zeds running on the NISMOs looking very good indeed. What Sarnie is saying is that if you're looking for that aggressive, wheels-pushed-out-to the-edge-of-the-arch look then they probably don't go far enough. However, AFAIK you won't get the NISMOs in the more aggressive offsets and you'll probably be looking at a different wheel.
  13. Give over, Nixy, you'll be fine! Only 24 days to go - are you getting excited?
  14. Nightmare mate. Good luck with the sale.
  15. My thoughts exactly, Val. Just a bit worried as they are a darker shade than the OEM ones.

    MPV Question

Does anyone know which MPVs have front seats that swivel round so that you can use the centre rear seat as a picnic table? Question is for my parents not me before anyone worries.
  17. To be honest a car dealer is under no obligation to disclose if a car has been subject to a Cat d or c write off claim, if the customer asks outright"has this vehicle been subject to a total loss claim " obviously the trader would then have to disclose the facts.. but as the law stands ,so long as the vehicle is in roadworthy condition no offence has been committed Is that so - annoying. I know when you sell your house it's no longer buyer beware - if you know something, but don't get asked about it at the time, you can still be held to account if it can be shown later you knew (or that you reasonably should have known). Think that's right Digsy? I'm not a conveyancer but you're right that if you know something there now seems a positive duty on you dislose it. I don't think it goes so far as "should have known" and there's always going to be the problem of proving knowledge. Nothing like that for cars - buying any car of uncertain history is potentially entering a world of hurt...... There are no obligations of sellers to disclose any material facts. They do however have to disclose any facts if directly asked by the seller. Its the sellers responsibility to ask the questions. Yes, but the property information forms that you have to complete ask very broad questions which cover most bases.
  18. That was a pretty good price, Dave. Maybe one day........
