  1. Makes sense if Louis reckons it should be called Trevor.
  2. And I thought you were a nice lady Nixy!
  3. WHY???? IMHO it does not look a patch on the Zed and lets be honest 95% of the time we are all sat in traffic somewhere anyway so looks have to come high on the list otherwise we would all drive EVO's. For that sort of money you could have a Turbo Zed with any selection of custom leather trim and still get plenty of spare cash and let someone else carry the depreciation!! Your car would then be:- a. More powerful b. Better looking c. Unique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don;t get me wrong I like BMW's. I have had a 535iSE and loved it and I would take back all of the above for an M6 in the twinkling of an eye (I know I know that makes me a hypocrit) I jst think the shape is all wrong!! Ming the Zed happy I understand your thinking Ming and I've toyed with the idea of FI but I do up to 15k miles a year and from everything I've read a turbo'd Zed isn't a daily driver. Personally, I like the shape - not as pretty as the Zed but muscular and compact with wonderful 60s sports car proportions. The old M3 engine is a gem too. I guess I get bored easily (this is the first car I've kept for 2 years plus this century) and I think it might be time to move on. Then again I may hate it! Cayman? Nah, can't get on with the looks.

  5. I did say at the time that those who buy these things new will take a hit. I may go and see this one at the weekend.......
  6. Am I missing something? Someone posted up that they have a quality issue with the Funkystyling badges and before the issue has been sorted we're all sending the new guy to........yep, Funkystyling! I would suggest that you either buy from the States mate (I will end up paying about £55 if they ever get round to charging me duty) or wait and see what Chris's response is to the issue.

  8. M. Funkystyling (member on here) does them and he is based in the UK! Either PM him or go to http://www.funkystyling.co.uk and talk to him Did you not read the rest of the responses, Mark!
  9. Sounds pretty distinctive. I hope he tracks it down.
  10. Who did you buy from? Part of a group buy on here last year - funkystyling I think. Wonder if they come with any sort of guarantee?? As a forum member I would hope that Chris at Funkystyling would want to do something for you here. Seems like a good bloke so a PM should be in order. Let us know how you get on.
  11. I bought from these guys on Ebay. Pretty cheap with exchange rates as they are and no problem posting out to the UK. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-350Z ... enameZWDVW
  12. Welcome aboard! A bit of patience and the right car will be just round the corner. Are you put off by high mileage as UK cars at this level have done a bit.
  13. Everything seems to happen at your Southern branch. What about us Northerners?
  14. What's he doing to the leather?
  15. Well that would help as well.
  16. All clients are made fully aware of the implications of there borrowings be it at 80%, 95% or 125%. If you borrow 115% then you are starting in negative equity, and yes if the market crashes they will fall further into that. If there circumstances change then yes its by bye house but thats applicable to any mortgage at any level of lending. Yes the clients would still owe the lender the further 15%. Technically speaking a 115% mortgage is not entirely secured against the property. 95% will be in the form of a mortgage (secured against the property) and the remaining 20% is effecitively a personal loan (therefore unsecured) given to the clients on the same term and interest rate as the mortgage. So even though you can borrow 115% of what the properties worth, only 95% will be secured against the property. Interestingly this means you can actually remortgage just the 95% element to a different lender and still have the other 20% with the original lender but it starts to get a bit messy.......... Mortgage Class is now dismissed............. If people want to take risks as long as they are fully advised I don't see a problem.
  17. What offsets are they? I think the problem is that you need far more aggressive offsets than are usually fitted to a Zed to get to the edges of the extended arches - something in single figures maybe?
  18. Contrast with Autocar who reckon the MY07 roadster comes a distant third to the TT 2.0T (yes you read that right, not the 3.2 ) and the Z4 2.5. Admittedly, there was a lot of talk about the crappy interior but it also was criticised heavily for not being as stiff as the other two and not feeling as fast as it should with over 100bhp more than the Titty. They still love the coupe though.
  19. Don't forget the bits you've got knocking around that you haven't fitted to the car!
  20. At least he could find out what a stealer would offer and then advertise it one last time at that price, no offers. If it still doesn't shift, trade in it is.
