I think this would rule out virtually 90% of aftermarket rims for UK use

To be honest if you have run polished alloy wheels through the winter ??, I think it will be classed as normal wear and tear ..thats why the majority of people take thier best wheels off for winter and use the standard rims..I know thats what I do .. Even the most expensive rims sold wont stand the UK winter salt
