  1. think there was a raffle for them, but F' knows if they got the 23 people needed
  2. looks good to me; must admit the rear is the only weak part for me in the M3 design
  3. stones and glass houses spring to mind
  4. Are these just a straight swap? Pete should be if your putting UK lights in a UK car. think there were wiring alterations to be made to some of the pins on the connector when fitting UK lights to a JDM. but get confirmation from one of the electrical boys. husky at Akira Designs might be able to clear things up.
  5. i love those wheels one of my all time favourites, if i still had the zed these are what would be on them. but i wouldn't be riding them that low. lower than stock yes, but not that low. fear of grounding out on a mouses erection its that low is not my idea of fun.
  6. good man south east has Abbey motorsports; probably one of the most knowledgable garages on the 350z in the country. top bunch of lads
  7. don't mind me; i'm getting old an cynical i prefer my cars to have function over form, currently run 30 and 35 profile on my wheels. i just like my tyres to look like they fit. to me when they are stretched it just looks like they couldn't afford the tyres in the right size so had to buy smaller ones to be cheaper. but take into account alot of my drving history was spent in essex where the half finished in primer bodykitted cars were a regular vision. as were complete abominations to the automotive world. so i am some what picky when it comes to what i do and do like on a car. doesn't mean my tastes are correct just different. don't let people like me put you off doing what you like; its not me that drives your car; its you; and if this puts a smile on your face when ever you see the car then crack on. my only advice would be what ever you do to the car make sure its easily reversible when you come to sell up. modified cars never sell well; regardless of how well they are done.
  8. Welcome to the club, like the splitter
  9. Yeah sure, the first time I dropped it i had the rails dangerously close to the deck Why would everyone think your ghey? Nothing looks more impressive than hellaflush done right but yeah i agree done wrong looks a right state. sorry never seen the appeal of running tyres too small for a wheel; but if it floats your boat; then crack on.
  10. remap it costs for the hks delimiter etc work out not much less than the remap, and the remap will see gains. i'm guessing your car topped out on one of the racing track straights. as those kinds of speeds on a public road would make you a retard

fair enough, wasn't sure what exactly he was looking for as the initial picture looked like an aftermarket unit.
  12. seems reputations aren't earne dfor no reason at all.
  13. best to go to an MOT test station, they have the correct equipment to get the correct legal level. you can do it at home with the car facing a wall or the garage door. but it will take the MOT guy about 2 minutes. and probably cost you nothing.
  14. just make sure you go in eyes wide open, i would reccomend taking a friend to make sure you don't get caught out with new car buying tinted glasses.
  15. you can change the bulbs, to a different kelvin setting but to be honest it doesn't make a massive difference. the headlights are just genrally crap. if you have the cash upgrading to the facelifted bi-xenons do make a big difference. but its not cheap.
  16. +1 They filled mine with carbon fibre. You can quote me, whether they remember me after 3 years is another matter its important to make sure that good price also = good work. ian is very lucky to have a good bodyshop who is also very affordable. i have a good garage too, but the price difference is noticable. but i wouldn't go anywhere else near me as they are 1 of the best in the county.
  17. from what i remember the nismo filter is sold as nismo but its just a rebranded AEM system. the extra you pay for is the name; but these particular systems are hard to come by and at 120.00 thats a very good price. someone is getting a good deal for that
  18. if you want to make it a suutable track weapon then you'll need to uprate the discs and suspension. is good as standard but being a vert and the fact that the zed is a fat girl you won't get the best out of her till you can tighten up the suspnsion and improve the braking which can suffer badly with heavy use due to stopping all that weight in the corner.
  19. make sure they fill it properly with glass or carbon fibre and then finish with filler etc. some cheap body shops will just filler it, looks great and fine for about 6 months to a year or until the bumper takes a nudge, and then it cracks out the shape.

there was a whole load of bracing made by i think Summit. speak to ekona he had the full set.
  21. you could run stretched tyres but then everyone will think your ghey!!! 12" is big; lots of yanks have done big wheels in the states with big drops running "hella flush" but it can look "hella" ghey if done wrong or badly.
  22. i much prefer the mk4's they ar emy favourites. but sadly no auto box on them. but i am still going to try a mk4 out; as they are so cool.
  23. viks right, extreme temps have a huge effect on glass, when it was baking hot in the summer i watched a chip in my windsreen turn in to a crack in less than 20 seconds, and then watched it spread another 35 cm in 3 days.
