You can always have SLX which doesnt have the finned pads IIRC To be fair I've always wanted XTR but no with the gap so close to XT (especially now I think they are doing 2x10 XT) I'm not sure I could justify it. Can still dream though You could always buy my bike and strip it down

Swapped to this thread...... dont have to keep approving posts then ..... that depends how fast you pedel I think its just under 20lbs, I think of all the bikes I have had it feels the quickest an most poised when under tricky terrain. Its a shame my back garden (Basingstoke) is not like your's else I would have had far more use out of it

If it does not sell it will be coming with me to Canada....... going to build a full suspension one over there I think Not as yet I wonder if you can get spacers as well
