You can always have SLX which doesnt have the finned pads IIRC To be fair I've always wanted XTR but no with the gap so close to XT (especially now I think they are doing 2x10 XT) I'm not sure I could justify it. Can still dream though You could always buy my bike and strip it down

Swapped to this thread...... dont have to keep approving posts then ..... that depends how fast you pedel I think its just under 20lbs, I think of all the bikes I have had it feels the quickest an most poised when under tricky terrain. Its a shame my back garden (Basingstoke) is not like your's else I would have had far more use out of it

I built it just for fun and ride just for fun ...... Its probably a little excessive for my needs. its got a great feel to it which I like. If it does not sell it will be coming with me to Canada....... going to build a full suspension one over there I think Not as yet I wonder if you can get spacers as well

Just got back from TFTuned to get my forks serviced. http://www.tftunedshox.com/ As I am not far I thought I would go down rather than send my forks. Really nice people, know their stuff and a great workshop. If your not using them I would recommend you do FYI... Service, new seals and pop lock fixed was £89 (RockShox Revelation)
