I use my phone but my question is where is the gps antenna, my manuals say it’s in the dash and Nissan are suggesting replacing the boot one which I believe is the am/fm antenna?

Ok, cars been to Nissan today and they said the antenna base and stubby aerial need replacing? all my manuals say the gps antenna is in the dashboard, any ideas? Nissan want £325 to replace the base and aerial...

Read that post but that’s for general updates for maps and only 2013 updates. My issue is the car not tracking properly. Having said that.. following the diagnosis it seems to have woken up. Was fairly good on the way back from the garage so I went a good 10 mile run last night and it was spot on so fingers crossed it’s ok now. Might still get the 2020 update disk though as it’s planned as a tourer and there are some roads missing around me. Hoping the display may be better as well as it also updates the software which includes ( I think) Bluetooth upgrades?

Hi, sat nav has been wandering a bit and when I look at info it shows no satellites. it’s just been for a diagnostic test and they told me it needs an update that only Nissan can do. I don’t understand how an update will work, surely it should show where I am on any roads that are already on, I can’t imagine the satellites have changed their software in the last few years for it to lose them? anyone else had this and the updates worked? Shall I just bite the bullet and get the 2020 update and take it from there? the sat nav is under warranty but not the update so I guess if it doesn’t work and it’s the unit I can argue for a repair then.

Slightly worried about the insurance issue on this... I’ve currently got a 6 month warranty so will get the car checked before it ends at cougar and get them to pull it and replace with a blown one at that time.

Thanks. Love the wheels, think being slightly darker they set the Pearl white off beautifully. Open top love started with a Volvo C70, got the mini 2 years ago after agreeing a price on a 370 but not putting a deposit down and it being sold next day. hoping my son buys the mini when he finishes Uni, would be a shame to sell it but my wife wants the ‘s’ literally just for the bonnet scoop 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s always summer with the heaters and seats on 😛 12 degrees is my cut off point but I do own coats.

Replaced the massive aerial as it hit the garage door. No other plans, still under 15k mileage so would like to keep it standard. I quite like the fact its quiet, suits a 50 yo better but I can see why that’s the first thing many people change and I would have done a few years ago. Maybe if something need replacing I’ll go aftermarket but no budget for swapping usable working parts for a while.

Needed a reason to get one...😛 getting old seemed reasonable.

I think it’s an after market mod. pressing and holding the door handle button should work though.

So, took the car for a test drive yesterday (Datsunitus/Zeditus 1 - COVID 0) As expected for the mileage, felt like new, smooth through the gears and quieter than I expected. Just waiting for agreement on pick up/collection but will be a Zed owner by the bank holiday by the looks of it 🙌🏼

High mileage, don’t rush in unless you are a mechanic or know your stuff. Worth a visit (if you can) but check some others out as well. it’s taken me 2 years to find one.. there are some that look good online and terrible in the flesh. Good luck with the search 👍🏼
