Hi Jay after talking to tarmac sport i went for a scorpion, with the hfc and y pipe he reckoned even the reso cobra would be very loud for a roadster so i went for a tamer option as i couldnt go for the milltek, should be here by end of the week

So had rear tyres changed today and while the car was in the garage i had the guy lift it for me to check the exhaust system, so i have sports cats with stainless y pipe, no idea of make but y pipe has flexi bits, would assume they are possibly japspeed, anyway from the y pipe the exhaust is like a custom job, not stainless, the guy said it was mild steel treated with aluminium stuff? with stainless back boxes, so i want to replace from the y pipe back, my options are cobra reso or non reso or scorpion, bearing in my the other mods can anyone suggest which would be most complimentary.thanks

well it came with sports cats, k1 exhaust, induction kit, thats all i can physically see, its already quick enough for me tbh, so i think for now i will concentrate on tyres and doing bits like linkages bushes etc

anyone recognise this induction kit the filter has like a metal bullet shape to it, but that bracket is damn ugly

its fine apart from maybe a tamer less noisy exhaust im quite happy how it is

thanks Keyser, she is in very good nick for 65,000. some wire brush work needed underneath but only surface, need to treat with something but thats for summer, fancy a tastefull spoiler but not seen anything, tricky for a roadster dont you think?

ok new plates will be here friday. just ordered, next is rear tyres as they need doing soon and i dont think they were much good anyway, anyone with suggestions from the major brands, and should they be 245/45/18 on standard rays or do you put wider profile on

yeah tyres are top priority right now jet, your right about that and other bits need sorting but im a bloke i gotta have one eye on making it even quicker lol, its all about 0-60 for me, coming from serious sports bikes

funny that cause mine has the sports cats and pretty sure its a k1[it has removable baffles] and i have to almost shout to talk to wife and radio up high just to hear it, although with my wife its not so much the noise its the performance that upsets her although she does like the roof down with heated seats, just like a 4 wheeled motorbike. I am thinking of changing to something not so loud to be honest but will have to wait

thankyou a big worry has gone and im celebrating with a couple of beers tonight. never had a roadster or a 350z or a 2 seater, some more ticks off the bucket list, didnt realise how rapid these cars are. now to think of upgrades. im thinking an uprev as she has sport cats, stainless, and induction kit. but im open to suggestions

they settled yes and the mot is booked now. happy day

so the dealer has paid me and car is in for mot which should go through fine, and im a very happy "Z" boy now. hooray
