  1. Yesterday about 5:45/6pm You were in the queue for the McDonalds drive-thru about 6 cars behind me, although I was in the boring runaround Qashqai!

    Spare wheel

Finally sorted! I spoke to my local Motorline Nissan quoting the part number and these are now £167 odd new (no tyre) with an 8 week lead time as they said there are none in stock in the UK or Europe! I continued trawling eBay and I now have a genuine 18" alloy spare including tyre coming from a breakers in Lithuania - let's hope it actually turns up, they seemed to have good feedback so fingers crossed. £95 including delivery so not too bad. And I have a jack kit coming now courtesy of ZMANALEX - Thanks again for your patience and help on this! Once it's all arrived and fitted I can rest easy on my long trips!

    Spare wheel

Teejay I’ve been keeping an eye on eBay I saw a genuine alloy 18” 370z spare the other day for £96 but it had the wrong sized tyre on it, in hindsight I wish I’d just bought it and changed the tyre. Paul, I’ve already been offered a 350 one but as Alex says you need a spacer to clear the caliper and I want to avoid that. I’ve emailed my local Nissan dealer as they are all WFH at the moment, I’ve been told they’ll come back to me next week so I may just end up buying new, the wheel at least. The hunt continues!

    Spare wheel

I just wondered how many 370 owners on here carry a spare? When I use my car for work it tends to be long journeys (300 miles round trips) When I had my 350 it had a steel spare which saved me on a couple of occasions. When I bought my 370 it didn't have a spare only the foam and air compressor. I've been looking for a while to see if I can pick one up second hand ebay or elsewhere (ZMANALEX is out of stock). I know you can use a 350 spare with a spacer but if I get one i'd want to run the 18 inch alloy spare just for ease. Anyone had any bad experience of having no spare or have one they want to sell me !
  5. Is it a base model rather than a GT? I think the base models have 18’’ rather than 19”.
  6. Just to put that in context I traded my 2005 DE with 93k on it in for £4K in September last year to a dealer where I bought my 370. I probably could have got £5 to £5.5 for it privately if I’d been patient but I didn’t want to miss the car I bought. Strangely I saw it appear on eBay shortly after for £5.5k and then on Facebook for £4K
  7. Welcome! I recently purchased a 370Z having owned a 350Z DE for 5 years, mine was 05 plate so one of the later DEs and was on 93K when I sold her but still was running and looked great no rust at all. I can’t comment on Rev-Up or HR but comparing to 370 still a great car. Major advantage was cheaper tax. Not sure that helps much but my 2ps worth B
  8. Hi Ebized, Thanks for the links very helpful! I’ve PM’d ZMANALEX to see if he still sells 370Z ones as I don’t want to go down the spacer route ideally. Nso have PM’d you too. Thanks, B
  9. Thanks Ebized I didn’t think the 350 one fitted over the brake callipers on the 370?? NSO93 where abouts are you and how much (PM me) thanks
  10. As per title. looking for wheel including tyre and all associated bits needed, Jack etc. I tend to do long distances in my Zed and when I had my 350 the space saver saved me a couple of times. B
  11. About 4:15 this afternoon near Tyseley station, had a Zociety sticker across the front windscreen at the bottom. Looked good, I wasn’t in my Zed I was on foot walking to the station starting my long journey home back down south!
  12. Yeah that’s pretty much the same. It’s happened a few times but has always cleared fine.... so far. I’ll not lose too much sleep over it!
  13. Welcome John, I’m a fellow 370Z owner (GT only though) having owned a 350Z prior. I live in Kent too I’m a bit further up the M20 towards London. There’s a Zed meet at Torqen (near Luton) at the end of the month if you check out the local meets section. B
  14. Thanks Umster, I’ll give that a go, I’ve just taken it off and it’s actually part number 96212 1EL0A I wonder if the other part number I found is for a European or US car
  15. Anyone else before I buy from Nissan?
  16. Has anyone else experienced this, I’m wondering if it’s condensation somehow as it seems to occur only after the car has been sat for a while, when the display is on the text looks slightly blurry but had to show in a picture
  17. It seems someone got to Attak before me so if anyone else has one please PM me
  18. Hey all, When I bought my 370Z I noticed the front number plate holder had been cracked and glued, which looks unsightly as it’s got that cloudy whitish superglue glaze! unfortunately my OCD is now getting the better of me and I want to replace it. if anyone has a second hand one in good condition I’d be happy with that. It’s a GT model (so not Nismo as I believe they are slightly different) I believe the part number is 96210-1EAOA Thanks, B

  20. Spotted a Gunmetal 370Z turning into Wested Lane (towards Crockenhill) about 7am this morning. I was heading towards the M25 junction doubt you'd have seen me as you were already on the lane, I just spotted your tail! Anyone on here? First one I've seen around my way for some time! B
  21. Thanks for the replies and welcomes. I had my heart set on a black or white one, but this car was too good to pass up having been looking for months. I agree the blue looks much better in the flesh, it’s pearlescent I believe (someone correct me if I’m wrong) but It’s grown on me. Having had both a 350Z and 370Z now it’s strange as I was expecting a very similar driving experience. They are quite different, some pros some cons. I think what took the most getting used to was the throttle response. B
