yeah not many people would be interested but currently for the next few week/month I won’t have any time to sort it doing a lot of mileage and the petrol is starting to show now I do about 1.5k miles a month now. I’ve advertised it on here and gumtree I was looking at autotrader but £70 for an add is putting me off any suggestions on places to advertise it is welcome

So I’ve had some bad luck with this car and had a deer run out on me but I managed to turn away from it so it hit the front bumper and passenger side fender. I have got a replacement bumper on the car and thanks to Zmanalex I have a front fender on it now too both need respraying to match the car. it also needs a passenger side arch lining and headlight washer cover. I still use this car as a daily driver as none of this affects drive ability of the car and will continue to do so as I don’t have another car yet. I also replaced the petrol gauge senders thinking it would help but now it doesn’t go below quater of a tank on the gauge. Also the power steering has started getting heavy now and again so I’ve bought a pump off zmanalex just need to get round to fitting it at some point but power steering is working fine for for the last few thousand miles so might be okay and maybe heavy due to tyres or deer in some way I’m giving up on the car now and only have 2 days off over Christmas and New Years so no time to do anything with it. I have photos of the damage and new bumper and fender on the car I reduced it to £5500 which I think is a fair price considering it needs 2 panels resprayed. Any questions just ask

Nice price and might get it if it’s as good as you say im not really sure if I need a wet vac, I have access to a Bissel spot clean pro so I can clean the carpets with that but I need something on the weekend cleaning to pick the crap off the carpet and remove dried mud and getting in tight areas like around the seats

Looking for a decent hoover for cleaning the zed would like one with all the attachments with it. budget of £150, might go to £200 if it was that good anyone got any recommendations? It will only be used on the car so no need for a household one, I’m not sure if there are any specifically made for car cleaning thanks in advance

I’m selling my zed for a 2010ish TT RS looking around 16k for one with a few mods done and it gets the 0-60 down to 3.2secs and 4wd not the most power you could have for the budget you have available but will still be fun with that power and will best everything off the line that you come across every day. if you want the V8 get an R8, even the old ones still look amazing just a shame of the running costs

Oops got carried away lol sorry. The only option left is getting another car but that’s the problem I’m having, there’s no cheap fun cars that match the perforce the closest I have come is an Audi TTS, but still not the performance. The zed is one of the cheapest cars in this range. If you don’t like the TTS try a BMW Z4 not really much else I have found. Mazda 3 mps if you like hatchbacks then also fiesta st but still not much on performance front If anyone knows a cheap to run and match performance then let me know please I beg

I’m on the same boat as you currently, I’m fed up with spending £450 a month just on petrol + running cost. I’ve been looking for a few months now and it only really makes sense if I got a diesel but I loose the fun and performance side of things. To me even getting a second car I will save £250 a month on petrol but I’ll still have tax and insurance to pay + servicing items and looking after the car. You’ll still have to pay all the servicing costs no matter how much you drive it but instead of paying £300 a year servicing costs it’ll just be spread out over 2 years for example. Tax and insurance will put the price up all together so how much will you actually be saving? I sas it like this: 1) zed on its own, £5000 petrol, £500 servicing costs, £30 mot , tax £500, insurance £800 all for a year £6830 2) 2 cars. £2500 petrol, tax 500/130, insurance £1k, servicing £600, mot x2 £60 for a year £4790 its till a saving but is it worth it to you. This is only an example but 2 cars mean you have to look after both just the zed won’t be used as much and loose the pleasure of driving in it It it all depends how much you want to save, I’m saving for different reasons to you. How much will you actually save unless you sell the zed but that’s the same with all cars.

Just had the windscreen replaced due to crack and it is booked in for an mot next week (29th) few photos to show new windscreen

When I was 20 I had an RX8 and it was 1.7k a year and a 350z would have been 2k+. I’m 24 now and my insurance on the 350z is £800 a year, it might be worth you waiting another year like I’m doing for another car. A year makes a big difference to them for me. Also insurance is done on postcode, mileage amongst other things and these make a massive difference. Saying I do 13k miles a year makes it £600 more then saying I do 9000 miles a year edit- forgot to say it’s £400 CHEAPER a year if I declare mods. Mess around with your quotes and you’ll see the difference. Little things like on one day it will be £1.5k the next day it will be 1.4k I dunno why by there prices change a lot, also try at night around 1am if possible as I was getting cheaper quotes somehow at those times
