  1. I'm leaning heavily on my previous idea of pretending we had a meet and that it was brilliant.. But either way I'm up for a meet any weekend. I work 7 days usually but can make late afternoons or evenings.
  2. BIG THANKYOU for the recommendation there guys. Decided to get the car fully serviced whilst the car was there. Great service, the guys know what they are doing and are very helpful. Fair prices and good advice.
  3. Yeah fluid will have to be changed as well I think it's advised you change it more regularly on the zeds with the brembos. I can never remember which are the tougher pads out of the redstuff or yellowstuff?? The greens aren't all that I've used them before and couldn't say much about them really.
  4. A decent set of discs and pads should help you stop more efficiently? I don't drive the car very often and aren't too tough in it when I do.
  5. Just spotted this thread, thought I would mention... I've used Torqen once or twice before, excellent service. And on the forum simple no nonsense advice.
  6. Thanks for the advice, will give it some thought and get parts ordered after everything's checked out on Friday at atkins. If the stoptech's are the better in terms of stopping power then they are the ones I want. The z is a heavy bugger, a lot of car to stop!
  7. Wow thanks for the quick reply. I've been browsing your site. What about these? Look the business and say they are the same as stoptech?? https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/brakes/discs/472-350z-centric-performance-zinc-plated-rotors-stock-fitment-pair-brembo-c2x42076.html
  8. Having a browse online at the various discs and pads available for the 350z (gt with brembos'. And it seems there's a lot of choice. Would like to have grooved discs like the ebc's etc. What would people recommend as good value discs and pads with decent stopping power? Without emptying the bank account...
  9. Working that day but should be able to get there on time no problem
  10. The Sony xav touch screens are good. Not very over complicated to use really. I upgraded to a touch screen pioneer and never looked back. Ebay probably the best place for the wiring harness you will need that's where I got mine. Make sure it's for the 'bose' or 'non-bose' as you need, and make sure it's for the brand of head unit you get.
  11. Spoke to them late yesterday and got myself booked in on Friday. They are only changing a knock sensor for me, they've quoted a few hours labour which is great. Once again thanks for the recommendation.
  12. I'm happy if the date is changed no problem... With it being only 3 confirmed people, I'm also happy to just pretend we had a meet and that it was all good fun? Either is fine
  13. Is this car on eBay now? Being sold by 'pristine motors'? Not meaning to be nosey just asking for a friend who may be interested.
  14. If it's just the three of us then sod it the burger king is on me.. Poor effort west yorkshire, poor effort
  15. Thanks for letting me know, I think it's worth the trip over to them then. Also sounds like a very reasonable price for the service and mot.
  16. Pads and tyres arent anything major, providing the rest of the car is sound. Also a good thing to use when it comes to a deal...
  17. Great stuff, my favourite colour for the zeds are grey and silver. Look forward to seeing some pics. Enjoy it when you get it!
  18. If I am behind everyone it shouldn't be by much. Look forward to it
  19. Welcome along. Personal I would be going for the private seller. The only benefit of the dealers one is warranty, which is usually useless and has that many exceptions that it's not worth having.
  20. Welcome and congrats on the new motor, What colour did you go for? Get a photo posted..
  21. I will be there providing I'm not working too late. What time would you be there until do you think?
  22. Thanks very much, look forward to hearing how you get on with them
  23. Sorry, should have been a bit more specific.. I'm in Bradford, willing to travel a bit but the closer the better
  24. Hey guys, I know there's a few of us from around Yorkshire. I was wondering if people could recommend a good garage in the area that know their way around a 350z.. More so a 350z that is really low to the ground (2 post ramps are not ideal) Thanks in advance,
