After having the car for just over a year now and experiencing some of the different wear-related noises, i thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread where we can explain various noises and the possible culprits. I've found some are easy to find, other's not so. The aim of the thread is to essentially provide a list of the common areas to explore when trying to locate a noise. Please add to it or edit where you see fit. Clicky axle - occurs when coming off or on to the accelerator - a sort-of clunking noise - search for clicky axle fix. Banana/compression arm - a knocking when going over bumps - bush failure, replace bush or entire arm. Drop links - a knocking noise when going over bumps - joint failure, replace drop links.

Ok, so since buying the zed a good few months ago the cd player has gained the usual skipping issue...gradually getting worse by the day...as much as i would love to simply replace it with an aftermarket unit i'm currently strapped for cash (new clutch needed). As a desperate attempt to help this issue i bought a simple cd player cleaner from Maplins (£4.99)...and its actually worked!! My cars a 56 plate so i assume crap has simply built up over time. Cleaner was really easy to use and takes a matter of seconds to work its magic - simply place cd in the player as normal and follow the audio instructions. I ran the cleaner a few times to be sure and its been brilliant ever since. I'd suggest it to anyone before paying out for a new unit! Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Currently running standard exhaust but wanting to beef the noise a bit...thinking decats (keep originals for mot time). Worrying if they will bring the eml on straight away or is there any preventative measures you can take to prevent it?? And if eml goes on will she go into limp mode?
