  1. so that’s nearly 60 brilliant well done to Andy James and all the organisers of these events. 🤗
  2. Come on we only have till Monday midday to get past the 50 and hopefully more for the club stand.
  3. Fixed speed cameras in Northamptonshire are still switched off since September 2011 but Northamptonshire Police Force has a number of unmarked vehicles and speed camera vans which they will have out in force (not a pun) on the day. Areas to watch out for along A43 between junction 15a on M1 overhead bridges and from M40 along A43 to Silverstone
  4. That reminds me looking at the above cars spec I must have a look at some different exhaust systems whilst at Japfest as mine still got stock one fitted I think from new as only one previous owner and no history in paperwork to show it’s ever been replaced, Davey did put me on to a place at Brackley not far from me who fit them.
  5. Bookings for club sites ends on Monday 14th March at 12 noon so members need to get their skates on as Kelsey Media reserve the right to close the club bookings prior to that date.
  6. I agree but still a long way short of last September great turnout.
  7. yes saw on the Ace Cafe Calendar of Events we are booked in for 11th June starting 11am is that a bit later than last year, have certainly enjoyed previous years hopefully will not miss turning this time as bugger to turn around once you have. 🤷‍♂️
  8. Strangely I have just been looking at secondhand ones for sale on different websites such as Piston Heads and others and prices range hugely I actually found a black 2004 coupe with 15,844 miles on clock advertised for £18,000. I bought mine in May 2016 from a specialist car dealership in Weybridge for £10,000 they wanted £11,000 it was 1 owner with 26000 miles on the clock I have now done 53,000 and it is my daily driver all year around and stands outside most of the time the only issue I have had was a new lower suspension arm bush collapse and was due to to NCC highways never filling in potholes. Mine is a September 2006 model so has the larger engine but also comes with the high road tax charge and is a GT model so comes with leather electric seats, Brembo brakes, Rays Alloys, parking sensors etc. I spent a long time looking for one on websites and I wanted a low mileage fewer the number of owners the better and unmodified and found exactly what I wanted and have never regretted buying it. The best of luck in finding one.
  9. Wishing all those in the club and their families a Very Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for 2022 and some dry weather meetings hey Davey 🤷‍♂️
  10. I looked up the publishing company and they suggest a few outlets but secondhand on amazon £85, I paid £30 for mine. I will look on a few sites I know to see if anyone has it.

  11. Hardback 207 pages although not had chance to read it yet have flipped through and has some great photos and details in it about both 300ZX and 350z, I think they are quite rare as fetching silly money in USA it was originally £34-99 U.K. does not say when first published but the publishers are www.veloce.Co.U.K. Or www.velocebooks.com

  13. I wish 1966 was DOB but sadly 16 years in wrong direction 🤫
  14. Have booked paid and even printed off the ticket which is something of an achievement at my age although no idea how to add to the list lol, it’s certainly something to look forward to in 2022. Talking of age maybe we should run a competition to see who is oldest club member to be driving a 350z and I mean driving not stuck in a garage and only appearing at such events I think I would be in with a good shout. 😂
  15. looks like you had a good turnout despite the appalling conditions we had a Tornado here literally ripping trees out and across roads had no damage apart from a lot of my neighbours Walnut tree leaves across garden, I seem to recognise that blue GTR I think I saw it traveling at speed around Silverstone at Japfest is the owners name James
  16. I agree the weather is not predictable at present although rain has been the order of the day down here this week and the forecast for Evesham tomorrow is heavy rain however quite often before the festive season bah humbug you get that autumn cold but sunny dry days you know the ones when the suns so low you cannot see a bloody thing so maybe another event could be organised although I very much appreciate it’s someone else doing all the organising. Good luck for tomorrow.
  17. Hi Dave unless the weather shows a marked sign of changing I am going to give tomorrow a miss which is disappointing, drizzling fine but tomorrow is forecast the “Full Noah”
  18. All new club members should be advised that wet weather gear is essential for one of Davey’s organised club meets 🌧💨⛄️☔️🤷‍♂️😝
  19. View this email in your browser ULEZ - Ace Cafe London is NOT in the Zone! On 25 October 2021, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expanded from central London up to (but not including) the North Circular and South Circular roads. The new zone is 18 times the size of the central London zone and now covers 3.8 million people. The ULEZ is central to the Mayor of London’s plans to improve Londoners’ health. It will clean up the city’s toxic air, which leads to the early deaths of thousands of people every year. Most vehicles driving in the ULEZ must meet tight emission standards or pay the daily charge. The ULEZ is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round (except Christmas Day). To check whether your vehicle is liable to the ULEZ charge look here To check on individual post codes look here. Ace Cafe London is NOT within the ULEZ - but if you travel to or from the Ace Cafe from within the North Circular or South Circular Road , you could be liable to pay.
