Although quite a way “up north” for me I have put it on the calendar however I shall be giving the “Drive Dads Car Experience “ a miss as probably driven most of them when new 🤷‍♂️😏

The number attending seems to have dwindled to a stop so if I arrange to bring a dozen cup cakes will that help 🤷‍♂️😂

There are a number of points raised in all the above comments but the facts still remain that Martin went to a lot of trouble to organise this event and was let down I travelled all the way down from Northamptonshire and intended to turn up rain or shine I didn’t buy my 350 6 years ago to keep it in the garage and push it out on a Sunday to polish it and I use it everyday winter or summer. I personally enjoyed the day and it was great to meet other members so well done Martin.

The paintwork on the Candy Apple respray 350 at the Ace was stunning although so recently painted it was still soft and no I didn’t test it, the bronze wheels really set it all off.

we only had 2 more at Ace yesterday 🙁

After traveling down from Northamptonshire it was disappointing that about half who said they were coming failed to turn up although reasons such as having a baby and your car failing it’s MOT was understandable so congratulations to one member and commiserations to the other, Martin who organised the event must have been disappointed but didn’t show it so huge vote of thanks to him and for those who didn’t arrive you missed a treat who would have thought that a 350Z would look so fantastic in Candy Apple Red. 🤗

Thanks but have decided to come straight down M1 to Brent Cross then around the 406 and hopefully not miss the turning like last year.

yes brilliant day and many thanks to Andy James also arrived home looking sunburnt but none the wiser with regard to a replacement exhaust system I think I am more confused than ever.

78 that’s brilliant well done to all those involved in organising it especially Andy James, fingers crossed regarding the weather but we all know who to blame if inclement conditions I am not mentioning his name but let’s say he wasn’t at the event back in September despite his car appearing in the promotional video and the weather was brilliant just saying 🤷‍♂️😂

Crumbs I forgot you have to be on the stand by 9am I am not normally up before 11am on a Sunday just as well only 20mins away but will still be a struggle. 😴

it’s actually not too bad before the public entry at 10am I think I got there about 9am last September and easy it’s not like when they have the GPs there, once you leave the A43 from either the Brackley or Northampton direction and come up the slip roads normally queue towards the entrance gates but the stewards at Silverstone have been doing it for decades so they move along cars quite quickly either have the entry pass in front windscreen or have it handy to show them and they will direct you either round the back of circuit and through small tunnel or over bridge over track towards the stand, good luck.

maybe they have heard that Davey is going so are expecting biblical type storms 🌪💨🌊🤷‍♂️😏
