Calendar looks amazing guys, great work and thanks to everyone who submitted their photos.
Hopefully get to see some of these pristine growlers in the flesh this year.
Thanks to Stu for the collation of the shots to produce the work of art on my wall

A bit like good vs budget trainers then?! Could split your head open going on a run with Primark trainers
Id say more like playing football in trainers, yeah you can do it. But there is a good chance you're ending up on your arse
In all seriousness though, ive used Hankook (Ventus) before on my old Focus ST, they are a decent tyre but they are only a decent budget tyre. Anything rear wheel drive with over 2 or 300 HP id stay away from anything described as budget. Just not worth the risk, they only need to save your skin once and they are paid for.

Thanks mate 👍
I fell in love with the car the moment i saw her ❤️
I got the rear wing done first. Then changed the whole exhaust system and had a tune and dyno.
How about you?
Just had short tails done and a Z1 CAIS, plenty cosmetic changes with all the additional carbon bits, spacers. Still quite a few to do and need the ECUteK tune done.
My shopping basket on Torqen is over 2k again

Hasn't rained today.
8°c
Even after 30 minutes driving (so not from cold) the rear still surprised me and gave a little wiggle as I accelerated up a slight incline.
Can't wait for the weather to improve and the remnants of the winter gritting to get washed away.
Will have to check the pressure in my MPS4S later.
Hahaha funny you should say, had a little run down the east lancs the other day, set off from the lights and was still spinning the rears in 3rd not exactly ideal
-
Honestly, after fitting the MP4S im never fitting a different tyre.
Pricey, but you get what you pay for. End of the day, your tyres are the last thing between you and a bad crash, pay for themselves ion the long run

Lovely looking Z a great platform for anyone looking to start their own build.
Would it be worth hiding the chassis number on the MOT slip ?

Stunner in black with the high wing, love it.
Was torn between Black and Storm when buying mine, just couldn't find the right one in Black.
Any mods planned yet ?

Just put down the information that fits more to what you do.
If you're ever unsure maybe best to call the insurer and ask for their opinion.
Hahaha so still unanswered How can a different job role have an impact is what I wanted to know. Its me and the car you insure, not my wage packet
Guess quotes are just done by a random number generator or something

Hi.
If anyone ever needs any help with insurance then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.
One question you can answer as it always bugs me.
I work in IT, but when I said it was IT in the Private Education sector it was cheaper than when I put IT field engineer in the Hospitality Sector.
Additionally, the first quote (current price) has Business use, commute and SDP the latter was for SDP only.

Yeah bit of a poke for you guys, will be first time of going, was just pondering it as a chance to finally get out and about again
-
Thanks for the countless hours you have put in, never been fortunate enough to meet you yet but the posts above speak volumes about you.
Enjoy the retirement and hopefully you will stick around, maybe one day we will meet at a show.
All the best.

Tbh I’ll probably be a pariah after saying this, level surface start it up once for a few seconds then leave it for about 30s then quickly dip it and pull it out and I can get a good read- atleast it’s not a sodding Renault traffic with the stupid plastic filller dipstick lid with a slow filler 💀
I always thought I was an odd one out, never once had an issue with the DE reading the level.
All I did was rough up the back of the stick with some 80 grit, works a treat. No issues in or out either.
Always for the wifes old 307cc far worse, orange plastic end on it, bloody useless.

I'll have a chat with some of our regular carbon suppliers, not something I've seen before but we may be able to get hold of some or get some made.
Nice one Coz, much appreciated
Would be looking for cross weave and glossy gelcoat to match the Nismo Pillar garnish.

@*!#. Guess i'll be pulling some weather strips off and checking mine. May invest in some cavity wax and get her covered before its too late.

Yeah the standard is too quiet, Ive got the Tarmac sports short tails on, make it just about right. Loud enough but not obnoxious, take a few months of driving to bed in sort of thing but they sound nice. I assume the Torqen ones and AAM are very similar in note.
Some drone on motorways at 3k rpm but you can live with it. Hope that helps

If you need a standard Nismo back box, got one with 5k on it in off a 2019 the loft. Was pondering selling it
The short tails are a LOT louder than the standard back box, even with the rest of the system as standard.

Let's be honest, just edit the title of the thread to 'Stupid wheel set up- Dangerous in all situations'

You could try Hills Salvage, they don't have one listed but they do have some ancillaries so maybe worth giving them a ring.

Wallet friendly alternative to MPS4s
in Tyres
Posted · Edited by Willsy1980
As above, only 2 options here. 1 New PS4 or 4 new cheaper options. If there is lots of life in the other 3 PS4, you can sell them on and make a few quid back but even in that situation, its probably cheaper to buy 1 matching tyre.
