  1. 225/45/18 Toyo proxys on the front and 245/45/18 kumho's on the rear with wheel spacers and lowering springs. I know this would cause over sensitive traction controll but it's never flagged a light up before, just been annoying. Both tyres have plenty of tread left.
  2. Hi, yea I have erased everything and re scanned once they re appeared, same codes come back. I cant feel a misfire and all the data I can read from the scanner suggests that it's not misfiring (at least when I've been monitoring it anyway). My plan was to let it fail compleatly so I can find the faulty coil but it's thrown me off a bit with these codes from the ABS module. The codes have re appeared in slow moving traffic so I don't think it's due to any loss of traction although I have had issues with it interfering at speeds I wouldn't have thought it should be.
  3. I'm looking for a decent breakdown cover for the Zed but ideally one that covers me and the Mrs in both cars. Anyone had any decent deals?
  4. Hi all, I have a 2002 JDM import and my EML / VCD and slip light are making an apperence every now and then. Plugged it into the snap-on modus in work and got the following P0350- Ignition coil primary circuit problem. (In engine managment) C1109- battery voltage out of range. ( in ABS) C1130- Engine 1 fuel cut system fault (in ABS) Obviously there is a problem with one of the coils, but as the problem isn't constant (yet) I can't pin point exactly which one is at fault. I haven't got the cash to splash out on all 6 coils at the moment. My question is, will the faulty coil bring up faults in the ABS/ VDS system? I've drop tested the battery and tested the altanator charging rate etc and that's all fine. All 3 lights come on symbultainiously, cycle the ignition and only the EML remains (until I reset it with a scanner) Any pointers will be much appreciated!

  6. Yep £20 for a good cause is cool with me
  7. Its not a bad job to do at all really, just frustrating doing it again so soon as j changed the clutch and flywheel at christmas! My own fault for not noticing it then probably. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yea i was using block of wood but this time the car had no clutch pedal so pushing it up onto them was a task! This made it much easier. Luckily ive got access to 3 different lifts in work, and a boss that is very laid back when it comes to using the garage 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So i made these because i was sick of struggling to get the ramp arms underneath anything remotely low or anything with skirts! Really easy and cheap to do. Basically its 3, 6ft decking boards (£2 each from B&Q at the time) Some wood glue, deck screws and sand paper. The rest is pretty self explanatory! I cut the pieces at a 45 degree angle to ease driving up onto them and used sandpaper glued to the underneath for some grip. O and obviously screw the deck screws in pointing downwards on each layer ðŸ‘🻠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Drilled the rest of it out and cleaned the threads with a tap, the new one fits snug now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. All sorted, no wonder it failed, the old pivot ball wasnt threaded all the way in and it had some suspicious looking tack welds on it...... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks for the speedy dispatch Ewen, im back on the road ðŸ‘🻠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Brilliant, thanks alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Great thanks! Any idea where i can get the upgraded part? I don't fancy driving home in rush hour with no clutch again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So ive just got home after loosing my clutch pedal on the motorway. After a frustrating drive with no clutch ive had a look at the damage. The slave cylinder (replaced at christmas with a clutch and flywheel) Has extended to much and popped out because the clutch fork appears to have moved. I think the pivot ball has come off and the fork has moved, cant see for sure lying down on the floor with the torch on my phone covered in brake fluid! Has anyone experienced this before and if so is there a uprated part i cant get hold of? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I fitted this kit just before christmas, no complaints what so ever, feels great, revs up quicker now. Theres a little bit more transmission noise but that will be inevitable with a SMF í ½í±Â🏻 The is the Xtreme SMF lighter than the stock DMF? If so, do you know by how much roughly? Yea it is lighter but i cant remember how much off the top of my head, do a search, ewen put all the info up on here somewhere ðŸ‘ðŸ»
  17. I use the snap on solus ultra, wouldn't know what PID lists to look for on your version sorry.
  18. I'm not 100% sure but on most cars with EOBD 2 will trigger a cat efficiency code if the rear lambda sensor is switching between rich and lean to often (because the cats not doing its job). I had the same problem on my old CTR, you can buy mini cats that fit in between the lambda and the boss in the exhaust but a proper fix would be a remap?
  19. I might have if I can find a replacement with the volume controlls, I'm thinking of installing them on my JDM but need to whip the airbag off to check what wirings there or not. I'll keep you in mind í ½í±

  21. Good work! Any other shiny bits you can knock up on your CNC machine? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Drive home from work, about a 10 mile journey, and it feels so much better. The height and weight make the gear changes alot more positive. Plus it looks a squillion times better
